Bit of back story, Simon had proposed to Kass before the events at Filament Station, and she was given very little to no time with him when he was hauled away by the C.O.I, and even less so when he was sent to AT-5 to go down into the blood ocean for a mission in return for his freedom.

Might do some doodle strips of Kass having talked her way into being brought on for the mission and working coms to keep in contact with Simon, and the altercations she gets into with Ava :V..-

I don’t do vent art often or talk about my rl problems, but this is something that I’ve been dealing with for over a year now, and I don’t think anyone really prepares you for these kind of issues when trying for a baby..and that you may fall into the percentage of infertility..even when your taking extra measures to do everything right with blood work, lifestyle changes, the multiple supplements you end up taking because your hormones don’t do what they are suppose to…

And then everyone around you seems to have it come so easily or aren’t even trying for it to happen…and you feel happy for them, genuinely, but also struggle to keep up the smile and excitement when inside a piece of you just kinda dies.
