Apailana looked at Padme. Her face was impassive but it soon broke out into a grin. She had to to admit it was nice to see him. She had missed having the senator around. “It’s good to see you. Have you been well?” She asked. Her brown eyes were focused on the former queen.

“Jedi business,” he answered. “I was appointed as her protector so I’m just doing what I was asked to. I was sent to check up on her, nothing more,” he told the woman. Sure, it wasn’t completely the truth but, he had been appointed as the Jedi to protect her.

Apailana frowned. She supposed it was not unreasonable to want to protect her. She merely nodded her head to show she undertstood it. “She will be here soon enough. Please do take a seat.” She said softly. Her gaze was even and she  sighed softly. “Amidala’s craft touched down.” A young man said as he came unto the room. He ducked back out to bring her here.

Mara finished her meal quickly and looked at the young queen earnestly. “Don’t blame yourself,” she said softly. “He wouldn’t have told you even if you had asked.”

The truth was, Mara was becoming more and more sure that he Jedi master had no intention of ever being found. But as determined as he was, Mara Jade was even more so. She would track her husband down, and the search would start here, on Naboo.

“Let us start by seeing where he was when he disabled the tracking device.”

Apailana nodded her head when she was told he wouldn’t have told her. She took a deep breath and then brought up the ships information. They had found the tracking device just outside the system. She had asked her scouts to check what had been there previously. “This is where he went missing. There are many former Jedi temples and buildings in the area. I don’t know which he would have visited.” She told him. Many scouts had reported seeing nothing. 

Her mouth was a thin line and she grew more worried. “What did Luke say to you before he left? Any indication to you why he wanted to leave?” She asked knowing it was a silly question to ask. She just had to know.

“Ah-soooka.” She said, standing back up and dusting herself off, as if she’d gotten dirty in her fall. She smiled brightly, “I’m the best!” She was close to the best, but their teacher claimed they were all equal. It didn’t bother her, it drive her to do better.

She offered the young one a smile. Apailana liked to see young women take charge. Her eyes sparkled and she nodded her head to agree, “You certainly look like you’re the best Ahsoka.” She complimented. “What are you training to do today?” She asked with a curious tone.

Apailana looked at Padme for a moment. Her face fell into a frown and she sighed softly. “The past is something you learn form. You cannot change your experience. You learn from them.” Apailana told him.

She looked at him and then smiled gently. “It seems not even death can keep the Jedi away. I do find that a good thing.” She told him. It gave her a sense of hope and that was what they needed at the moment.

Apailana touched down at the resistance base. She had her most loyal hand maidens with her. Sabé however had been left behind to act in the queens stead. She also had a Gungan bodyguard with her. She looked around her and her eyes fell onto a pilot. She approached him. “I need to speak with General Organa and the leaders of the resistance.” She told him. Her maids were looking around them while Kosa-Yin her bodyguard remained close. His presence was gentle but he was good at his job.

Queen Apailana looked at the young woman. Her gaze was curious and she then gave a soft smile. She had to get to General Organa “I need transport to General Organa. Naboo must join the resistance” She said firmly. She had several star fighters and more troops ready for transport on the freighters that Naboo had. It was only a third of the army but it would help and she would personally be leading them leaving Sabé in her place.

Kylo Ren stood as the MASSES were instructed out from the chamber but he remained vigilant in his spot. Reaching out with the force, he BRIEFLY probed those that remained and foundGLIMMERS of those previously force trained but summed their skills and their power to no true threat to himself. There was no need for CONCERN nor was there for violence as what he had come for could be gotten without the IMMEDIATE threat of violence.

Even as the courtiers DISPERSED there was a delicious sense of murmuring, emotions on the rise. Some simply whispered their curiosities at such a SCANDAL, something not widely talked about. Others bristled with fear and TREPIDATION at the presence of a dark knight and the history being revisited.

         “ My preliminary research has suggested that whilst this is true

            there is more to this history than merely your account. I trust

            that those remaining are in the highest reaches of your inner

            circle.”

Tilting his head, he allowed himself for the first time to PHYSICALLY acknowledge those that remained in the room allowing his eyes to IDENTIFY those he had previously encountered by the power of the force. Kylo Ren’s head remained tilted more in respect than anything else.

         “ I intend nothing other than what’s been said, my queen. “

At his words she frowned but the expression smoothed out. She was unsure of this young man. “Those in this room hold my trust beyond all others.” She told him. Her tone was slightly frosty. She knew that those in this room would never betray her. Would never go against her. “Why do you want to know about Anakin?” She asked her voice curious now. No one normally asked about him. One of the maids came over and whispered into her ear. She was merely thinking there was some connection between this knight and Anakin. Apailana felt the same. She turned her head to the former Jedi who shrugged. “You may stay here until I have made my choice to call you friend. The decision is not mine alone.” She spoke meaning the people and the Gungans. 

She got to her feet and smoothed out her dress. Her maids remained sitting and then fell into hushed conversations. “Are you sure about this?” The former Jedi asked quietly.. Apailana nodded. She then turned to look out of the window. The gardens and shrine were beautiful. Her eyes closed for a brief moment. What would Padme do? She turned to Kylo Ren. “I wish you to show you something.” She told him. “Sabé you may join me, the rest of you remain here. Prepare a room.  Kin-Ya, calm the rest of the court.” She told her most loyal maid and the Gungan minister. She wondered if he would follow. Sabé was by the queen’s side in seconds. She headed towards the garden. She intended to show him the horrors inflicted by the Empire and First Order. She had light sabers and other objects from refuges and former knights.

Okay, I’m feeling like I’m letting the people down with this blog. Everyone is so good and I can barely muster a decent reply. I wish I was better! I will try and be better as much as possible. My replies will come later today or tomorrow though they are absolutely awful. I did consider taking up a new blog either
