Sarah, the mother of a child named Amir, shares his story. Amir was born with a lack of oxygen, which caused muscle weakness and a deficiency of white matter in his brain. Due to this condition, Amir cannot move any part of his body, requires a special diet of ground food because of weak jaw muscles, and needs special medication. The family currently lives in Deir al-Balah after being displaced from Rafah.
The war in Gaza has reversed Amir's progress in physical therapy. Due to the lack of medicine, therapy, and worsening living conditions, he can no longer walk. His family's repeated displacements and the harsh environment have further harmed his health.

Greetings to you from Gaza, the land of peace and love.
Please take a moment to read my story.
I am Mohammed Al-Dahdouh. I currently live in the completely destroyed city of Gaza. Since the war on Gaza began on 7/1/2024, my family—my father Nasif, my mother Asmaa, and my siblings Khaled, Ahmad, Muhammad, and Malak—have been living in constant fear, crying, and suffering due to shrapnel, shells, and bullets.
We have no food, no electricity, no cooking gas, no schools, no homes, no cleaning supplies, and no clothes. Our house was completely destroyed. My school has been bombed, and my brother Khaled's university is now rubble, depriving us all of education. The war has forced us to live in displacement centers, which are just tents unsuitable for living, especially in winter.
Every day we live death, terror, and panic a thousand times because of the ongoing bombardment of my city. The war has killed more than 50 of my relatives and neighbors. At the start of the war, we sought refuge at my aunt's house, but it too became rubble. Imagine: we have survived imminent death more than 20 times and have been displaced among shelters more than 13 times. My siblings and I have suffered from many illnesses due to malnutrition, and we need medication continuously.
If we stay in Gaza, we might lose our lives. Recently, we have been seriously considering leaving Gaza for a safe place. However, travel costs are extremely high. We need over $50,000 to leave Gaza. Due to exorbitant prices, rampant unemployment, lack of security, the ongoing siege, and relentless bombardment, we have lost all our money. How can we live in such insecurity, with constant shelling and shrapnel flying above us? Dear compassionate friends around the world,

With your generous donations, even if small, you can save 7 people from imminent death, allowing us to start a life outside Gaza filled with love, peace, and hope.
My name is Kariman Dohan, I am 25 years old. I was a committed and diligent teacher, and my husband, Ayman Olwan, 30 years old, is a business administration graduate, but due to unemployment and difficult conditions in Gaza, he was forced to work as a fisherman. We have a wonderful son named Hamoud, who is one and a half years old. We live in Gaza, specifically Khan Yunis, where the fishing boat, fishing equipment and the school where I worked were damaged🥹🫂💔😭😭😭😭
We have been displaced several times, and our tragedy has reached the point that we now live in a tent that is unfit for living. We desperately need your help, I have launched a donation campaign but I cannot get the funds so I can get $50000 to get through this current crisis.

Hello, I'm Wasim, from Gaza. I'm 20 years old. My family consists of 6 members: my mother, father, 1 sister, and 2 brothers. We were displaced from Rafah to Al-Mawasi in Khan Yunis, under severe bombardment and destruction, without anything, in a small tent that can not accommodate 5 people without the necessities of life.😞💔😭
As was supposed, I was studying at a university in the month of October in which the war broke out, but my university was destroyed, and the universities in the entire sector were destroyed.
Help us and donate to us. Make a difference in our lives. We need you. We are without work and without home😭😞🙏

Read it once in your life, and never regret it. ✋✅
Do you feel bored of the posts asking for help from Gaza? You’re right, but imagine our situation as we live this war day after day for 13 months. Do you think we’re tired too?!!
Asking for help is not easy; it’s very embarrassing, especially for a family that used to live a decent life. My husband and I completed our university education with distinction, worked in respectable jobs, and were used to helping others, not asking for help. But the war has turned our lives into a nightmare; we lost our home, our sources of income, and even our ability to provide the simplest of needs.
I'm Hanan. For the past 13 months, we have been struggling to get healthy food and medicine for my child, whose weak body was attacked by infection, and for my elderly mother-in-law, who fell into a coma for several days and almost lost her life due to anemia caused by our inability to provide healthy food, as prices have risen more than 10 times. Now, we have run out of everything. While you are reading my message, my family and I are trying to survive amidst all kinds of suffering.
What was once a beautiful dream and reality has now become a nightmare. Starvation is one thing, but starving, freezing, and being forced to flee in the middle of the night when tanks suddenly arrive in your area, running for your life and your family’s life under fire, leaving behind everything you built over the years, and returning after 5 months of suffering in displacement and tents to find that your home, where you lived your happiest moments, is nothing but rubble, is something completely different! 💔😓
Can you feel my broken heart now? Can you imagine what I’m going through at this moment? Everything I am living now cannot be described with words, and every moment here is filled with pain and fear. We desperately need your help, as we live in hope of escaping Gaza to save our lives and live safely away from the explosions.
You might feel powerless to stop this genocide, but you can certainly save my family. We appeal to your compassionate hearts to help us escape this catastrophe, which the human mind cannot even fathom.
Please share our campaign with your family and friends. This will help us reach those who can help us directly. Be the reason to bring hope back to our hearts ♥️✨

Dear Friends, 🌷
I know you share my story out of love and humanity, and I am truly grateful for that. 🙏💚
the painful truth is that sharing alone does not feed the hungry or provide medicine for the sick. 💔
The cost of a bag of flour is $300, which is the main source of food for my family and is needed weekly just to make bread. We live in a tent my child trembles from hunger and cold, and all I can do is pray for him. 😥
Please, don’t just watch or share extend a helping hand. Even a small donation could be a lifeline for a hungry child or a suffering patient.🙏
Don’t close your eyes to our suffering. We are calling upon your humanity.
The last donation 20 hours ago!! 😓
Thanks to your generous donations, we were able to buy essential necessities that we couldn't do without, despite their high cost. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to feeding my child, even with a piece of bread 🙏💚. Your generosity gives us hope in facing these indescribable catastrophic circumstances 💔.
I am Jaafar from the besieged northern Gaza Strip, I am 24 years old. I had many dreams and ambitions, but because of the war I lost everything. I lost my dreams, my university and my job. I have nothing left. My family and I live in danger of death every day and every night. I have lost many of my friends, but I still have some hope of rebuilding my life and dreams. So please help me rebuild my life. If you cannot doate, you can convey my voice and my suffering. 💔🥹
Any donation you make will instill hope in my heart again. Please do not ignore
i don't know if anyone reads the longer posts i make, so i'm going to try to keep this short and hope that it encourages more people to read.
these kids are zaen and yahya. they're kindergarteners. they were really excited to start school but i don't think it needs to be said what happened afterwards. now they're trying to help their parents collect necessities in gaza.
i'm not going to write paragraphs appealing to the humanity of those reading it. i know it exists. instead i'm just going to tell you about the family and their goals.
this is the shehab family.
zaen and yahya's father is mohammed @mohammedfamily-blog; their mom is @hyamshehab92 who has reached out to me a few times.
their previous fundraiser was shut down; they lost all the money they'd been able to raise and are now trying to start over.
they have been vetted by 90-ghost here and are #127 on the gazavetters spreadsheet.
reblog this post. i'm not asking, consider this as me begging on their behalf. reblog this post even if you can't donate. please. and if you can, donate. if you want writing commissions in exchange, i'll do those for you. send me your donation receipt and i'll do 100 words for each €1. whatever prompt you want. they only have €1760 raised; they need €60k. they'd managed to raise around €17k when their previous fundraiser got shut down.
i'm putting the important links below, for ease of access.
thank you from the bottom of my heart for whatever you can do for this family.
I am Sarah Zidan, a Palestinian mother from Gaza, and I write with a heart full of sorrow. My son, Amir, has only known fear and destruction. Every day we face the sounds of bombs and the sight of our shattered world. After he began to recover and walk on his feet, this fierce war came and all medical centers were closed and Amir’s health condition began to decline. Your generous donations will save Amir I am sure you will help us.

This is a heartfelt plea for help on behalf of Hamoud, a 17-month-old child who has spent every moment of his young life surrounded by the horrors of war. His innocent eyes have witnessed more devastation than any child ever should🥺
We have launched a donation campaign to provide him with the basics he desperately needs to survive this harsh winter: warm clothes, milk, and food.
The goal is modest—just $5 per donation—yet it can bring warmth to his tiny body and hope to his little heart. Your contribution, no matter how small, can be a lifeline for Hamoud and children like him who are enduring unimaginable suffering.
Thank you for standing with Palestine and for caring about Hamoud. May your kindness and compassion be returned to you a thousandfold.

My family of 6 has been worn down by the merciless hunger, and searching for our daily sustenance has become a daily battle.
Yesterday, desperation and need drove me to go out in search of a loaf of bread.
• Screams mixed with fear 📢😟.
• Eyes burdened with pain 🥺💔
. Every step was a struggle against a tide of hunger and humiliation 💨🌪️.
And in the end?
Help me bring daily food and save my innocent children from being deprived of food .
Help us by donating or sharing to save children and families from real famine.
My family was stable, we lived in peace, and now all we know is the sounds of explosions and the smell of corpses in the streets. We are escaping death every moment. We struggle to get food and drink, as the video showed in a previous post.
Video link:
My eldest son Zain's first year at school was a joy for his school, friends and teachers. His life was like the life of any child who dreams of everything beautiful.
My second son, Yahya, was in his first year of kindergarten, and he would wake up early, happy to go to his friends and play.
Or do they now wake up to the sounds of planes and explosions and feel ashamed when they stand in line to get food or water? A terrible difference between our lives in the past and the present.
A year between our stable life and the life of war, no education, no games, no life, no security, and no source of income. How long, world, where is humanity, where are the rights of my children? I hope you will donate. As much as possible, my family and I want to leave Gaza. I want my children to have a life that suits them My friends, donate as much as you can.

Muhammad and Mona are a young family with two beautiful daughters, 6 year old Iman and 5 year old Toleen. i have been keeping in contact with Mona on whatsapp for a while and the things she tells me are beyond horror. there are rumors of the border crossing opening soon, so they need funds for that (30,000$ for all 4 members of the family), but even more urgently - funds to just survive.
Iman and Toleen, these vibrant, fun-loving little girls are forced to go through WINTER in a thin, nylon tent with a torn roof! the outrageous prices of any clothes at all leave the sisters sharing a single pair of torn slippers. and somehow, their parents still need to buy food.
this campaign is stagnating, and the goal is a very achievable one. even if all of my followers donated 10 dollars, they would be set!
currently they need around a 1500$ for a new tent, and around 1000$ for winter clothes for the girls.
and if you want, please message Mona and Muhammad on their blog, @monamohammed3they feel extremely alone and forgotten by the world. if you could provide them with the support, monetary as well as moral, they would appreciate that immensely.

We are no longer able to work and everything here costs ten times its normal price. We cannot provide anything for our family. Please support my brother’s campaign to help me, my son and my family. i have just heard from @mohammedshehabtt that the crossing might open soon. screenshot below:
if muhammad is right, the crossing will open soon. that means he has only a limited amount of time to raise funds and get his family to a safe place.
muhammad is only 26. he's younger than i am. it breaks my heart that this is something he has to worry about. unfortunately, it is, and he's got his family to worry about too:
mona, his wife, 24 years old
iman, 6, and toleen, 5, his daughters
his mother and father
they've lost their home in the war. they are currently displaced in deir al balah. iman and toleen have gotten sick due to the conditions in the camp they're staying in. look at these sweet girls; they don't deserve this.
they deserve a home. they deserve warmth and safety. they deserve a cozy bed to sleep in every night, and a home to decorate with star-shaped lights like they had before.
this is not merely a dream they have; it is an attainable goal.
muhammad needs to raise €30k total to get his family out, of which he only has €5257 at the time of my writing this post. i am appealing to all of you who see this post to please share it. please donate whatever you can. i know a lot of people have been feeling hopeless especially now, but please don't. there is hope. if the people of palestine have hope and faith, so should we all. and now more than ever we need to work together to help them.
so please, share and donate. whatever you can do, please do it. thank you.

They're not asking for much, just €10 should suffice!
By donating, you are not only helping Nader, but you are saving him and his family.
We have managed to raise €12000 since the beginning of our campaign, and as with any other Palestinian who are fighting for their lives against the oppressors, I do not wish for Nader and his family to succumb to the murderous regime. Please, together we can raise enough so that they can afford for basic necessities as well as for them to be able to escape through the border crossing, once it opens.
We have already dealt with Zionists who attempted to compromise the campaign due to their own vendetta against the Ghazzans, and thanks to you all, we've successfully fough back and won, proving the veracity of this campaign. Please, do not back down. We need everything we can muster to help Nader and his family.
It's only gonna get harder now that UNRWA has been banned in the Settler state. Let's fight this battle together!
