The way charlie went back to being a scared child who had spent majority of his life being scared and locked away, the way he was scared of babe, not knowing where he was or who this man is, the way he says "I am not familiar with you, what if I let you down" because that's what he was to tony right? A "let down", the way this parallels to charlie's fear of disappointing babe in season 1, they way babe kept on reminding charlie with "mama papa", showing the rings, handling him ever so gently, the way he had desperately looked at Alan, the very man who also betrayed (not in a bad way) him and charlie, the way babe looked so dead inside until Charlie woke up...every damn thing about that scene, about those few minutes was heartbreaking cinema
