Lord almighty aziraphales face when he realises crowley is confessing- he didnt want it to be like this.

Aziraphale was building up to it, a touch here, loving stare there, a dance. He was planning it all out for a perfect confession- lord knows he is a perfectionist.

(I fully believe that if the metatron didnt step in aziraphale wouldve confessed)

The reason aziraphale is so quick to trust the metatron again is cuss he is the voice of god, a higher up to aziraphale that despite them not getting along in season 1 is practically woreshiped by the angels.

Of course aziraphale clings to the notion the metatron is good and cares for him-

Its like when an abusive parent treats you right once, you cling to it, even if its just a vasade.

Omg okay so I just had a thought

Maggie is the stand in for crowley and nina is the stand in for aziraphale

Crowley loves aziraphale unconditionally and has always waited for aziraphale (just like maggie says she will for nina at the end of the season)

Aziraphale cant date crowley because he is still dealing with heaven (just like nina cant date maggie because she has to get over her ex first)

This was probs obvious but AAAAAA

Good omens is crazy to me cuss not only is it so casually queer, the writer and the actors activally support it?? And talk about the ships and stuff with positivity and love?? So many characters who use they/them casually?? Its such a breath of fresh air.

The things is, aziraphale was trying SO HARD this season😭 asking crowley to dance, "our car", etc. He was trying to show that he was willing to pick up the pace.

Im sure if the metatron never showed up everything wouldve been fine😭😭
