“You do.” She nods, and smiles, lowering her gaze. “And yes, you should talk to him. He’s not at the manor, text him to look for his location.”

“Well that...makes me feel a bit better about that I guess.” Not that it had anything to do with him but Quetzalcoatl could be quite judgy with those who decided to share intimacy with his family.

“I’ll do it later, do you want to stay for a bit tho? How does it feel? The uhm baby I mean, having...a life in there.”

She moves in close and wraps her arms around him. “I’m happy, I’m finally going to have my family… My children.”

“You already have a family.” He was quick to correct her, keeping a soft voice. “But I get what you’re saying.”

He nodded and pulled away, sighing again. “I’m glad Pilli is happy now and he understands. I should talk to him too... And if you don’t mind me asking...do I know the father?”

A grin spread on her face as she sees him beaming, before it slowly fade at the mention of her husband.

“Uh… No.” She coughs softly, pursing her lips before replying. “It’s not Tlaloc’s… It’s someone else’s…”

“Oh-” Quetzalcoatl blushed at the blurt of his assumption and bit his lower lip, cupping Quetzalli’s cheek gently, brushing his thumb over her cheekbone as he smiled again.

“What it’s important it’s that they are your child and that’s more than enough for me to love them already.”

His other hand moved to caress her still flat stomach and sighed happily. “Quetzalli whatever you need...you know I’m here...right? I won’t go anywhere this time, I promise.”

She smiles at him warmly and grabs his hands, holding it between her own for a moment before placing it on her abdomen.

“I’m pregnant.”

His eyes widened and a smile spread on his face, looking down at her stomach before wrapping his arms carefully around her for a hug.

“Oh Quetzalli! This are wonderful news! I’m so happy!” He squeaked and pulled back to look at her, kissing her cheek before looking into her eyes with a rasied brow.

“So Tlaloc has been around, huh?”
