gender euphoria
i've been feeling happy about myself lately & catch myself thinking this really often. i wanna share that with the world.
liannova in s3 ep18:
Oh right happy pride!
I found a lovely snail at work who was dried out so I let him have a shower and he seemed to enjoy it!! 🐌🚿
Joy and whimsy detected! This snower (snail shower) is joyful and whimsical! 🐌🚿

whoever made the peacock tomoe design needs a raise
hmm opinion on marigami w transmasc gender non conforming kagami n demigirl marinette?
like. kagami can model almost all of mari's designs. they especially like flowery suits and golden flowy gowns
marinette on the other hand is kagami's muse and poses for her art :)
FUCK YEAH
Theyd be iconic tbh. Can you imagine marinette swooning in class being all "yeah my bf goes to another school" and everyone's like
Sure honey
Until they see mari kissing kagami at fencing practice and they're like holy fuck. Adrien has known for months and is super supportive. Apparently their relationship is supposed to be a secret bc of Tomoe.
ANYWAY THEYRE CUTE they go on long walks together and drink orange juice and stuff!
Kagami keeps their hair short and wears shorts with their school uniform. They're not out to their mom. He did change the pronoun settings in the automated car and tomoe is constantly confused lmao.
ANYWAY they in lovvvve. Imagining them at a pride parade and they're just so cuddly and affectionate and also kagami sword fights a guy
“Chat… Noir…?” “The one and only.”
Okumaya devam et
a part of me almost hopes that miraculous NEVER explains lila's behavior. yes she has 20 moms. yes she wrote a love letter to max. yes she went to china. why did she do these things? its not for us to know. its not our business. i am simply here to witness her journeys, not to understand them

this poem is about being nonbinary.
green day songs are so relatable cos theyre all like “im gay, i cant sleep, i hate myself, i have anxiety disorder, i hate you, girls, I HATE THE GOVERNMENT”
i very much understand and support the "trans women are seen by the patriarchy as a separate, third thing worse than both cis women and cis men" part of transfeminist arguments on this website. i think that is something that does genuinely need to be said and aligns with reality. the part i get lost at is "therefore, conversely, trans men are seen as both cis women and cis men and have access to male AND female privilege. they singlehandedly created and maintain the patriarchy and also hitler was a trans man"
i hope this makes sense
I am going to lose my mind. YouTube saw fit to recommend me a short that's one of those excerpts from longer videos, and it's an interview of one of those political detransitioners who repeat TERF talking points and keep trying to throw us under the bus. And one of the things she said stuck with me: she's sad that she "mutilated a body that was a jewel, able to create life".
I need those people to realize that, when they say "I had a perfectly functional body that was able to carry life and I destroyed it, woe is me", it absolutely will NOT deter anyone from transitioning. I know that's not a universal transmasc experience because there are seahorse dads, but "your body can carry life" sounds like a threat to me. It should not be this way. I should not be like this. It is cruel to remind me that my body was made to host what I perceive to be a xenomorph-like parasite, and to expect this will deter me from living as my true self and make me 'go back to womanhood' or whatever is proof of a horrible lack of empathy and awareness.
If you asked a cis man what he thinks it would be like to get pregnant, he would probably describe something that sounds like a nightmare. Why do these people assume trans men are any different? Again, there are seahorse dads, but why do these people keep assuming we all want to be seahorse dads? It's horrifying to realize people would rather see you suicidally depressed but able to get pregnant with some guy's descendance (because you can't fool me, wanting people to get pregnant like this is 100% rooted in patriarchy and wanting as many people as possible to pop out preferably male kids to perpetuate the lineage of the cis males) than infertile, but happy and living as your true self. It's dehumanizing as can be.

wha in tpn au bc ive been thinking about tpn again
if i had a nickel for every time a queer man named alan made major contributions to society and science only to be ostracized i'd have two nickels. which isn't a lot but it's weird it happened twice.
I'd like to suggest adding material on Alan L. Hart to the archive. He helped to create and spread the use of X-rays for medicine (big breakthrough that is unfortunately rarely talked about because of erasure). He was also one of the first trans men to get a hysterectomy. Additionally, I think his story is important to tell, because despite the time he lived in (1890-1962), his story is not surrounded by tragedy but instead love from many people. He married twice to women, one of which was his wife until his (naturally caused) death in a very happy marriage. Even as a child, his family recognized his more boyish ways, and he was even listed as 'grandson' by his grandparents in their will.
He's just a very interesting person, and one who deserves recognition
If I had a nickel for every time I got a Tumblr anon message about a historical trans guy who I know of very well and was featured in my Masters thesis multiple times before getting cut due to timeline constraints, I would have two nickels xD
I'll add a bio on Dr. Hart in the future. I'm a big fan of his as well. In the meantime if you all want a very digestible overview of his life and accomplishments, check out this article from Scientific American!
