Japanese writer Yukio Mishima
Paris, 1965.
Today marks the birthday of one of my favourite Japanese authors, Yukio Mishima.
I had the honour some months ago of being able to pay my respects at his grave in Tama Cemetary, Tokyo.
He was and is a fascinating man, and to me is one of the great authors of 20th Century Japan.
May his legacy live on and his spirit continue to inspire all that learn of him.
"To say human life had no meaning was the easy part. But Hanio was struck all over again by the huge amount of energy required to live a life filled with so much meaninglessness." - Life for Sale
Belated Happy New Year all, may fortune and favour be with you this year.
Winterrrrr
One day why I'm here will become clear, but till then, I remain a witness to it all.

Do u have a girlfriend
Not currently. Was seeing someone at the start of the year but we've since gone our separatre ways. Tbh I think the writing was on the wall some time before that. We just kind of drifted apart, going in different directions in life
Well that's good that you're still around. A lot of people have abandoned this site over the years. Including myself for a while.
True, a lot have come and gone, and even if the account remained I was away for quite some time. There were and still are some good folks on here, just got to know where to look for them. But I never forgot about this site, so it's good that I made enough of an impression, thank you.
As before, all the best to my old mutuals and such, and stay safe out there.
Are you more active on twitter nowadays?
Oh no, don't have twitter so not active there. I can only apologise for being less than active these days. Life has kept finding ways of keeping me away with one thing or another. But I will make an effort to be back here more, so thank you for the kick.
If any of my old mutuals and such see this, hope you've all been in good health and spirits, and that you're all going strong in whatever you're doing.
Hero.
Signed prints of this fellow are now up for grabs in my web shop, while supplies last! ❤️
