New Sky Children of the Light players, I need you guys to know that whoever says " oh Sky Lore IS this-" and then proceeds to tell you what the game means is just giving their personal theory. Very very little has been actually confirmed. Half of the fun is deciding what all the symbolism and hints mean to you and putting that story together yourself. At least until more info is revealed. So if you don't like someones interpretation, remember they probably are guessing.

I really like how it ended up. I used some markers (fabrics markers I found and kept cause they look so bright) and it actually worked out pretty good I think. The black was iffy, but I still like it (RIP the sharpie pen I killed)

analysis of The Two Embers

I gotta go to sleep but first y’all get this

these two images are almost certainly an old Golden Wasteland. It’s interesting to see that the shipwreck already seems to have been abandoned, and that there’s not much left in the Crab Fields anymore besides the pipes and walls. This can’t be too close to the Fall, as the sky is clear and the water is clean. Also love the manatee.

the first image is probably closer to the Fall - maybe during the storm, as we see lightning and red skies. The child looks older here, if this is the same child - their hair is longer and they look taller. So maybe over the course of the show we’ll watch them grow up as the Kingdom falls?

these shots are probably from the Hidden Forest - I can sort of see a crab and trees? Possibly a reference to older teasers where they went through the Hidden Forest

These shoes look like the sewer system of Golden Wasteland? Earlier we saw concept art for a scene that looked like this. Maybe the child is going exploring?

Interesting shot here, maybe this is a darkstone?

Unsure what’s happening here? The tall figure seems to be bidding them farewell but I can’t place the location, maybe this is as they travel the Kingdom?

Oooh Eden city!! The glow within the building could be the Shattering Diamond pre-shattering?

KRILL!!! We’re gonna see krill!! Hopefully we get some clues on their creation

And magic! Over a book? Perhaps a demonstration, a ceremony, or a lesson? In previous animation teasers we’ve seen that spirits can control light so maybe that’s what’s going on here?

And in the last one we’ve got corrupted parent spirit with darkstone growing on their arm? It’ll be interesting to see the effects of darkstone here now that it’s confirmed that it can corrupt spirits

I hope we get to see the Elders omg

Really good analysis here, Amity! May I also add some of my observations

In the Shipwreck shot we got, a very interesting Eden view. It appears that we are in darkstone era right now, and we see that there are no infinite column of light in the sky, like we have today. But, however, the castle still floats. It turns out it wasn't the storm that flew the building into the sky, it was built like this (or lifted up later).

A war shot is still a mystery for me, because we have some info about it, but non of it was made into the game. When I make theories I always go by rule "Not in the game - it doesn't exist" It looks like ancestors are fighting with the krill, but I can't say for sure why. There can be two takes depending on which theory you support: 1) Ancestors are fighting the darkness fauna together to protect the Vault. 2) Ancestors are fighting each other in civil war and krill is artificially created weapon.

I also tried to increase the brightness of the picture to see the symbol on the shield, and it kinda looks like diamond?

This scene clearly going on in the Vault. Maybe the kid will get there through the sewer system we saw earlier. But it looks like the ancestor is using a regular book instead of a memory cube. So maybe it was before all books got rewritten.

I even tried to get a shot of the shelves, but it can't say for sure if these are cubes of books.

And now two theories on what this might mean.

1) It might be a Vault scholar (maybe from the book shot). The top of the head might have been cut off on purpose so wouldn't see the forehead thing that shows your rank in the Vault.

2) It can be somebody from the Isle, and the place can be the Cave of Prophecies, cus it has a similar stone corridor we have in the game. I mean, where else do you send a group of kids and then send them a farewell, because they can die in a stupid trial. There are only one place like that.

God, we waited for this so long and it was worth it.
