Huzzah! Tag games! And spicy backgrounds apparently
Thank you for the tag @astonishingly-interactive-imp
I was in choir in middle school and once went to Regionals and got all 1's, but wasn't able to continue in choir while my voice changed due to ageing and I hate it now lol
Due to shows like The Power Rangers when I was a kid, and certain issues in my childhood, I developed a lifelong love of martial arts and have studied a few different styles, I'm only okay on my best day though.
I am not nearly as country as I look lol. I was raised in Texas and due to that and work requirements, wear baseball caps and flannels, but am far more alternative/metal than people would usually take me for.
No pressure! But do it! But no pressure! lol (you don't have to do it lol)

Okay, this was surprisingly hard—not because I don’t have random facts, but because my ADHD refuses to let me pick just three. But after some ruthless internal debating, here we go:
1. I’ve climbed the tallest mountain in the UK—Ben Nevis. It stands at 1,345 meters (4,413 feet), and yes, it was very worth it. It also happened to be the hottest day of the year, and I forgot sun cream, so I ended up looking like a giant squashie for a solid three weeks.
2. I had a music scholarship in secondary school and played the violin for six years—I performed in a few orchestras and competitions, and while I don’t play anymore, I still find myself instinctively humming the violin parts whenever classical music comes on. It’s a habit I never quite shook.
3. I took a gap year and travelled the world—I lived and worked in the Western Alps, Paris, Vietnam, Thailand, and Cambodia. It was one of the most rewarding (and challenging) things I’ve ever done. I learned how to snowboard and how to navigate foreign grocery stores with absolutely zero shared language.
So many awesome people have already been tagged that I honestly have no idea who’s in or out at this point—so here’s what I’m doing: tagging the last 12 folks who posted in my community. Your mission? Share your 3 most amazing, unexpected, or downright quirky facts with us.
I’m nominating @wratyl, @sheliesinghostarms, @brotherorpheus, @sylviamione9, @ha-hanabi, @ashesinverses, @willadoptlostchildren, @astrolyz, @rain-rainynights, @abattoirsmile, @onearth-inhead, @quietchaoswords, and @sinkintoink. However, if you come across this prompt and feel inspired, please jump in—everyone’s welcome to join! 💜
Thank you @versesbyaaliyah for tagging me!
I like collecting tarot and oracle card sets. I am far from adept at actually reading and interpreting the cards correctly, but I find them fun and I like seeing the different themes the oracle sets go for!
To continue the music trend, when I was in middle and high school, I singed in choir. I performed in a few festivals and competitions. I was not able to continue when I went to college. However, I still love singing and, if there were enough hours in the day, I would like to make my own music.
My grandma, before I was born, basically asked my mom to not have me be a scorpio. Lucky for her, I was born a libra (even if I have some scorpio in me sorry grandma)
And for my victims who I'll be tagging: @echo-temporis, @reeces--pieces, @lunaleah, @i-am-the-writer, @sometimesilaugh, @goneahead, @moltenglory, @cassiopeia-rising, @sollyset, @monet-poetry
The seems fun! Thanks @rain-rainynights for the tag
1. I’m not emotive but I love dramatic films—particularly Bollywood movies
2. I can read about astrology all day but I’m scared to ever actually get my palm read or something
3. I’m almost played the flute in fifth grade. Still hopeful I’ll find the time one day to learn 👄

Thanks for the tag @sometimesilaugh ! Tbh idk what to tell u, but here we go...
1. I have an intense separation anxiety if i got separated from the group that i go on a walk with due to me have ever got stupidly lost and almost got left alone in another country during one vacation when i was little 😂. This was also a turning point for me to learn to speak English too.
2. I was a church's worship leader for a while, i like the singing part but not the crowd.
3. I really like special effects make up and is fascinated with how old movie prosthetics are made. But i never try to make one 😂. But i have ever (almost) made a thriller with my friends
That's few things about me!
Hbu? @three--thirty--am @abillowingwind @monet-poetry @ashesinverses
Hello to you, @subjectanomalies, @rain-rainynights, @knight-qoheleth, @echo-temporis!
Please forgive me if I respond a bit late, as right now I am going through the process of taking exams and completing various thesis papers. Also, I apologize for combining two threads with similar questions into one, since I don’t have anything new to add off the top of my head to the list of amusing facts. I also want to thank you for your attentiveness toward me and express warm feelings of gratitude that are hard to put into words — just like so much else we experience within ourselves in relation to others. Feelings has an inexhaustible variety of forms and is a wonder for the mind. So, let’s move on to the amusing facts!
When I was a child, my governess secretly dressed me in girls' clothes. You know, those funny straw hats with blue ribbons and sailor outfits. While walking around, she would tell me I was a "beautiful little girl," even though I was a boy. Eventually, this secret came out, and Mr. Pederastov vanished from the horizon of my sunny childhood.
I once had a red canary that sang like a nightingale. We even held small concerts, where I accompanied her on the recorder. Poor thing died of old age, but I still visit her little makeshift grave at the roots of an old maple tree, made of stones and moss.
Once, I traveled to another city to find an article containing a story by an obscure poet, preserved in a single copy in an old century-old journal, to get a sense of the spirit of the people of that time. Later, I transcribed it in two versions: pre-revolutionary Russian and modern Russian.
I also want to mention @odditywrites123, @quitegaze, and especially @philology-gworl, who also founded a poetry community called @poetry-in-russian, which I can recommend to you. When it comes to poetry, it is filled with lightness, softness, a "Malynovym" color, and, of course, sadness. And even if the community is dedicated to Russian-language poetry, I highly recommend you take a look at her works—believe me, you won't regret the time spent learning Russian just to read her poems.
I also deeply appreciate @inky-sun for her, on the contrary, dark-colored poetry, her entwining shadows, her attempt to understand time and the meaning of emotions, and I eagerly await her new works. Her poetry is a dark and beautiful gift. I don’t know whether I am fully worthy of touching such delicate themes, but I have boundless faith in her talent.
@subjectanomalies, you are, as always, wonderful. I know that in this paragraph only those who are given the word are being mentioned, but I simply cannot overlook you because you are also one of my favorite poets. I reread your work—and that alone says a lot. "Trying so hard / To keep my heart / From drying in the blaze"… Words are directed toward the emotions of those who hear them, but the mind turns away. Thank you for your art!
Thanks @monet-poetry for the tag <3
So here it goes...
I love to travel!!! Mostly places filled with scenery of nature and trees etc. I also click pictures of the scenes which seems beautiful to me anywhere I go.
I wanted to learn guitar so badly that I even started classes and bought a new guitar then after few months I ended up leaving the lessons halfway.
My grandma used to make me eat icecream when I was just 5-6 months old.
That's it. I further tag @inkcoveredpoet @poemwav @shakespearesdaughters @academic-vampire
Sometimes I think I'm too undeserving of everything.
Undeserving of happiness.
Undeserving of the feeling of being included.
Undeserving of love.
If I was never meant to receive any of these,
Then, why was I ever shown a ray of hope?
I truly feel all the sadness.
I shared joy with others,
Yet I never really felt it myself.
I gave love freely
And it did return to me,
But always as a lesson… or a punishment.
