Well this was just…… perfect.….
Raven had finally decided to do what her roommate kept telling her to do and get out of the dorm for once, go do something fun, attend the festival, go to the haunted houses….
Raven had always loved haunted houses
And here the night was ruined by…. she wasn’t sure what…. she hadn’t managed to get any information yet
Calmly, she made her way towards the first person she saw and appeared silently behind them, waiting for whatever conversation they were having to die before speaking up
“Do you have any idea what’s going on, by any chance?”
Blaine hadn’t been in the haunted houses when the chaos had ensued, but he’d been right outside doing his best to convince himself it would be okay to go in, that he wouldn’t die of a heart attack or pure fright, when everything started to happen. First, everyone was brought out of the first two houses, then the doors of the third slammed shut. Blaine watched wide-eyed as some tried to get in the doors, that was until the screams started. Now, no one from the final haunt had emerged. Many students were missing, a mix of scholarship and elite, and no one seemed to know what had happened.Â
His phone lit up with alerts and updates, and he scrolled through them quickly as he compared notes with the person next to him, discussing everything they were reading. Fear shot through the submissive immediately. He wasn’t ever one to maintain composure well in stressful situations, and he could already feel himself starting to falter. Then a voice came from behind and he turned, taking a deep breath and trying to pull himself together.Â
“I do, yeah.” He said, switching his phone on again to pass to the woman. “It looks like something has happened inside the dollhouse haunt. People are trapped, they’ve been taken to some sort of room. I think…I think this might be deliberate.” The worry in his eyes ad voice were obvious and he glanced around frantically. “I don’t know what to do.”
