Detention was as it always was, terribly boring and much too long. He didnât quite mind it though; it was better than expulsion after all. Leaving the classroom heâd been doing work in he watched as Alecto moved into his line of sight. The boy tilted his head back a bit as he looked at the girl standing in his way. âI am ever so lucky to have been given theâŠThrilling job, of organizing paperwork for teachers who donât want to do it themselves.â Cassius shrugged and put his hands into his pockets.Â
âItâs the price I must pay for being a. Victim of circumstance.â Mulciber broke into a grin, âBut, were you waiting for little old me? Iâm absolutely flattered, Alecto.â he laughed at himself, âDo you want something?âÂ
Theyâd all been there once or twice before. GIven the unfortunate business of dealing with detention and its ever boring process. It could have been much worse for Mulciber had Rabastan and her brother not given evidence in his favor although false. Alecto hadnât been the least bit surprised at that. Alecto hated detention and that was why when she did something she could get in trouble she left no tracks back to her if she could help it. She didnât have time to waste in detention. âYou should have done it incorrectly, purposely made it all wrong because I highly doubt they would even notice or care.â She smirks at her own idea.
âYouâll make it through it eventually, at least itâs better than expulsion.â She slid her hands into the pockets of her jacket. âDonât let it go to your head or I donât think our friendship will last.â She jokes of course. âIâm here for you, thought you could use some fun after boring detention.â
