i have to laugh. did you. did you REALLY just stalk me through my old blogs (@ukisteria and @r0se-street) where i posted a few harmless posts criticizing dazai?? they were meant to point out his flaws as a FICTIONAL character and never did i say that chuuya was perfect. you have to be on another level of delusion to think that🤡. anyway i literally don't give a crap about dazai, the writers of the manga can do whatever they want with him. maybe ur just mad because i had valid points and you can only spam my asks. haters gonna hate i guess 😚

talking abt dazai
just me going on a tangent, sit back and watch if you'd like 🍵
a lot of people seem to dislike dazai after ch.101 came out so I'll be pointing out his previous red flags and why i don't like him
blackmailing atsushi into joining the ADA. when we first meet atsushi, he's an orphan who's half dead on the streets. dazai essentially says to him, "join this extremely risky and dangerous agency or you can starve like this forever" there isn't even a choice at this point unless atsushi has a death wish like him.
staging a car crash for ango and then saving him so he would inevitably be indebted to dazai/ blackmailing ango so he'd have to help him
abusing akutagawa during his time at the PM. i understand dazai was also abused by mori (🤮) and he had a hard childhood, but if he truly changed after odasaku died, he would have felt some remorse and apologised to akutagawa like aku did to kyouka, i will never shut up about this point
dazai would never have become a "better" person if someone he truly cared about had died. it literally took odasaku's death to make him join a better cause and if oda had lived after the fight with Mimic, dazai would probably have stayed in the PM, passing on his trauma to akutagawa 😍
some problems i have with his overall character:
he's omnipotent and all-knowing and it just pisses me off like. can we have one season where he's also an oblivious victim.one moment of him being a genius was brilliant but it's getting boring now
his fans sexualize/ fan over how he is suicidal and also his (possible) self-harm, just please stop.mental health issues are not to be romanticised.
in a lot of fanfics, dazai often ends up pushing his work onto atsushi, his younger colleague. even though this is only in fanfictions, the fact that this happens in almost every bsd fanfic I've read shows that even his fans thinks that he avoids his work constantly
which brings me to his laziness, pretty self-explanatory. he's always making things hard for his colleagues, especially kunikida, who i can relate with because kuni just desperately wants people to do their work and take responsibility for ONCE

dazai notices and realizes that chuuya always does that whenever he's around him and that's when his idea that chuuya might like him starts to develop
his love language is being aggressively caring- just imagine him bandaging up dazai while shouting at him for being so reckless

when he and dazai were being Double Black, while they were doing paper work, dazai would always click on a clicking pen repeatedly and chuuya would get so annoyed- its been five years and now the sound triggers him a lot so he just uses pens with caps
just like he loves hats, i think he would buy a lot of coats (don't question it)
he's loathe to admit it but he's a pro at ballet (inspired by that beautiful high kick he did in the dark era arc)
because of this, chuuya's also good at dancing so he teaches dazai how to dance and they end up dancing to songs on the radio at night
chuuya hates swimming.
obviously, dazai pushes him into a pool one day which resulted in a few days of chuuya ignoring him
his room is messy but it's the type of "clothes in a heap, books lying around, random objects on tables and pens and paper scattered everywhere" kind of messy, not the dazai "dust coating the room" messy

maybe i’m dtm but i’m kinda annoyed how i post an imagine or something and it gets no interactions and this is just me saying it in general cause i’ve been writing for FIVE years and i’ve yet seen anything really. if you follow a writer and you see them post something, doesn’t even have to be something in your preference of genre, just support them. i’m tired of people thinking just cause we have a passion for writing doesn’t mean it’s not hard work. it’s hard work and it’s worth it but not showing any support when it’s due is where the problem lies.
