Like many, I was first introduced to the outsiders through reading the book in school, where I first fell in love with the world of “The Outsiders”

After that, I watched the movie, which peaked my interest even more. It wasn’t until I heard about the musical that I *officially* joined the fandom, but I have had a special interest in The Outsiders for awhile

l mainly post/repost about the outsiders on this blog

I have not read S.E. Hinton’s other books yet, but they are on my list of things to read next!

Apologies for a two week gap! Your girl was at GenCon and it wore me down to a nub.

I humbly offer pencils for the first page of a David x Michael comic I've been working on. Still not sure where I want to take the final rendering.

I consider the scene where David blows smoke onto Michael's lips to be the most sexually charged in the film, and I'm going to turn the musical Michael's inability to hit a blunt a sexy teaching moment. This miiiight get very explicit, but tbh I'm still not sure how Tumblr handles that or a good option to take it for viewing outside the platform. We'll see!

this audience was so reactive i loved it.

they loved starbeam.

someone from the mezz made such a loud involuntary squeel when david asks "how far are you willing to go michael?" that the whole audience laughed lol.

sho opt up during michael.

after murder capital , when the frogs head up the stairs, edgar stopped and turned around to look over/judge pierre. then they both stopped to say something to star.

marko seemed extra pissed when michael punched david like he got really low and growly. marko wife allegations will always be true.

max didn't look down at 'grandpa', he kept eye contact with sam the entire time and took such a big step and sho broke a little.

in fact sho was super giggly anytime she was around paul tonight, he's a menace.

liesie/concession stand stuffed the money michael gave in their shirt.

frog chest bump during no more monsters reprise.

edgar had the biggest smile on his face when sam tells them michael is a vampire like finally they got one.

he also tried to interrupt lucy's rant after dinner (right before she tells the frogs to leave) and his face was hilarious.

pierce edgar was really funny, loved his acting choices.

dom's surfer looking down at his friends getting slaughtered and feeling relief that he's escaped only for paul to surprise attack him.

david hips were jiggling during secret comes out.

david had his arm around star after he freezes time in the ironworks and guided her to look at michael.

michael's eyes were glued to david's hand on his shoulder during time to kill.

dwayne pointed up at michael "stay away from my brother" and star hissed at them again!!

mid clap during the reckoning paul nolan deserved this.

sho struggled to get the car keys out of her bag during the opening.

girl on the train stopped to tell me she loved the lost boys and she saw it for the 11th time on tuesday girl lets find each other again and be friends.

Something I love about the Lost Boys movie that is made even clearer by the different music styles in the musical, is that all three Emersons are experiencing three different story genres.

Michael is experiencing a true gothic horror romance.

Sam is experiencing a monster squad-style coming of age teenage horror comedy.

Lucy is experiencing a second chance romance, complete with her children trying to get in the way of her new relationship

This becomes exceptionally clear when you listen to Secret Comes Out, My Brother Is A..., and The Good Part back to back.

Seeing the little ring that indicates a new story on LJ Benet’s profile just makes me nervous atp. After last week every time I see his story has been updated I’m just like “oh god what happened to him now?” Or “Jesus what new piece of furniture did he lose to this time” and then after I build up the courage to tap on it it’s actually smth nice and not stress inducing.
