Ok idk if this is too niche even for tumblr but,, consider mcr as the IT crowd ?
Mikey and Jen are simultaneously social butterflies and socially awkward. They both attract a lot of people but don't quite know how to interact in a "regular" way. They both get with a lot of people (it never works out) and they're both stylish and "with the times".
Ray and Moss are both quite anxious and uptight people who, despite this, seem to often get themselves into awkward and unusual predicaments. They both love for things to be in order and have perfectionist tendencies. They're also both mega nerds in their own right. And yes, glasses and curls.
Frank and Roy are both quite scrappy in terms of appearance and attitude. They match each other with the graphic T-Shirts, scruffy hair, and laid-back energy. They both give off the vibe that they're a little bit desperate for the approval of others and can end up looking a bit silly. Plus they're both extremely accident prone.
Gerard and Richmond being paired together might seem a tad stereotypical, but they're both strange and eccentric with the Gothic flair to them. They both have a knack for poetic writing, be it lyrics or a dramatic monologue. They're also both hermits who would hiss at the sight of daylight.
For a bonus, Douglas and Pete Wentz cuz they're both really into Mikey/Jen and are a little* dramatic
