no one will ever be able to tell
people who use baby naming websites:
- expecting parents - trans people changing their names - writers - that guy outside my dorm room who was arguing with his buddy on whether the name Zach was in the bible and then very loudly announced that “behind the name dot com says its biblical in origin so fuck you”
T’Challa: One bonus of being an older adult is grossly misusing modern slang on purpose and watching teenagers cry inside.
T’Challa: A fine example: the other day I pointed at his web shooters and, while looking Peter right in the eye, went “Man, is that bae or what, huh?” and the look on his face was something I will treasure for years.

Artist friends, this is especially helpful information because the time you post your art can have a big impact on how many people see it!
Junkrat: *wearing McCree’s hat* Hey Roadie! What am I now?
Roadhog: Ugh, an individual incapable of properly using the English lanaguage, a dysfunctional moral compass, with too many bullets for his guns?
Junkrat: Nooooo, I’m Texas!
Roadhog: What’s the difference.
Today a student emailed over a draft of his essay on 1984 and had clearly used a thesaurus on every single word, and how I know this is because the the party slogan ‘Big Brother is watching you’ had become ‘Enormous Sibling is viewing you’ and I lauged so hard I cried
you: big brother
me, an intellectual: enormous sibling

Tuesday Tips - Structure/Gesture: Why Not Both!
Probably one the most compelling issue to deal with when drawing characters. There’s clear pros and cons to both approach. The key, IMO, is to straddle the line between both. Give appeal and energy through the use of gesture, but always give hints of structure, weight and solidity to make the character feel like it lives in an environment. I do a quick, dynamic gesture first, then I go back in and add some structure on a second pass. In a rush, I’ll focus the structure pass on faces, hands and feet (feet: their position on the ground to give weight and/or balance to the pose.) -Norm @grizandnorm #tuesdaytips #100tuesdaytips #100tuesdaytipsbook #structuregesture #whynotboth
