āWhoever restrains (his) anger while heās able to act upon it then AllÄh will call him in front of all of the creation (on the Day of Judgement) to let him choose from įø¤oor al-ŹæAyn (virgins) and marry from them whichever one he wishes.ā

Allaahumma āinnee āas'alukal-āafwa wal'aafiyata fid-dunyaa wal'aakhirati, Allaahumma 'innee 'as'alukal-'afwa wal'aafiyata fee deenee wa dunyaaya wa 'ahlee, wa maalee, Allaahum-mastur 'awraatee, wa 'aamin raw'aatee, Allaahum-mahfadhnee min bayni yadayya, wa min khalfee, wa 'an yameenee, wa 'an shimaalee, wa min fawqee, wa 'a'oothu bi'adhamatika 'an 'ughtaala min tahtee
O Allah, I seek Your forgiveness and Your protection in this world and the next. O Allah, I seek Your forgiveness and Your protection in my religion, in my worldly affairs, in my family and in my wealth. O Allah, conceal my secrets (awarah) and preserve me from anguish. O Allah, guard me from what is in front of me and behind me, from my left, and from my right, and from above me. I seek refuge in Your Greatness from being struck down from beneath me.

The text highlighted in bold is concerning what is secret (an Awrah!)Ā It is from theĀ morning adhkars that we recite daily. Whenever I reach that part, Itās terrifying that there is aĀ connotation between awarah and anguish (despair) and that it is mentioned alongsideĀ each other.Ā

Because of how loosely we take the significance of our Hijaab, may Allah cover and conceal us and save us from anguish.Ā
Awrah ( Ų¹ŁŲ±Ų©ā) is a term used within Islam which signifies the intimate parts of the body, for both men and women, that must be covered.Ā

The Messenger of Allah ļ·ŗ said, āTwo are the types amongst the inhabitantsĀ of Jahannam (Hell) whom I have never seen,Ā the one, possessing whips like the tail of an ox, and they flog people with them. (The second one) women kasiyatun āaariyaat: who would be naked in spite of their being dressed, who are seduced (to wrong paths) and seduce others with their hair high like humps. These women would not get into Paradise, and they would not smell its odor, although its fragrance can be perceived from such and such distance (from a great distance).ā
