This a multi media event. Fanfiction, fan art, gifs, whatever else you wanna use to celebrate Rabbit.
Just like last year, we have two prompts for each day, you don't have to use both for any of the days. It's just to give you more options and ideas, and to think about characters we might not usually.
Day 1: Dispatch/Non-human
Day 2: Waitress/Waves
Day 3: Rabbit/Addictions
Day 4: Toad/Criminal
Day 5: John/Questions
Day 6: Mark/Silence
Day 7: Original Character(s)/Scarring
For the character prompts, I tried to go for characters who could be multiple characters, for even more options. So like Dispatch could be any dispatch, Mark could be either of the Marks, etc.
Maybe don't try to stretch the prompts, but we've all been there, so don't worry about something straying. I don't wanna discourage anyone from an interesting idea, especially in this Rabbit drought. Also I can't prove it if you do intentionally take every prompt as loosely as possible. And I'll probably be entertained by it, anyways.
I'll be on the lookout, but to make sure I see something you can tag this blog @rabbit-week
You can also put in the post tags #rabbit week, and/or #rabbitweek2026
The Ao3 collection is Rabbit_Week_2026
Also I'm on Instagram now, so feel free to post there as well. I know even less how that works, but I guess use those tags, message me here what your username is there.
Summary: Mark was drinking, in bed, and yelling at God. Silently, in his head, but he figured God could hear it if he cared to listen.
Warnings: alcoholism & drinking, suicidal thoughts, implied past child abuse, religious angst
Word Count: 230

Let me know if i should up the rating from teen to mature idk
It was interesting writing this part of Father Mark's past. He's in this weird in-between when he can't ignore God's presence but he doesn't trust it yet. He's not sober, he's far from who he is in canon. So I was a little nervous about his voice, because it has to be so different, and still recognizable at the core, so I really hope everyone likes how this all turned out because I really like it 🥺
Life has been pretty tiring these last few weeks, so I'm really late for this, but I guess it's better than not posting, so here's the flashfic I planned for day 3 of Rabbit Week: Rabbit/Addictions.
I've been really frustrated by how hard it is to find fanfics that have actual intersex characters in them, it feels like most of the time the intersex tag gets used on ao3 it's on a mistagged fic. I'm not really sure what the solution for this is, but I like the idea of doing some sort of fandom event (like those ship weeks people do) for intersex characters. Where intersex fans are encouraged to write about intersexuality, and perisex fans are encouraged to read them and learn about us.
I don't have the spoons to pull something like that off, but I thought I'd throw the idea out to you and your followers. If anyone wants to pick this up, I'll definitely participate
I feel like there WAS a dedicated tag for accurate intersex characters? But maybe I'm making shit up or misremembering something or whatever. Nor am I actually sure what I could do because I don't use AO3 all that much, I only really registered an account to save fics and such. I was aware of An Intersex Jam (link) that happened about a year back on itch.io which I really liked and would love to see another iteration of in the future, but besides looking at it in inspiration I'm not sure how something could be hosted similarly. I mean probably on the same site? But whatever. Haven't exactly thought of hosting this or anything, but would collaborate if someone were the primary host?
ladies, gents, and everyone in between or outside of those parameters, we are back again for 2026, this time kickin' off the announcement a little bit sooner. after last years outstanding support and excitement for this event, we've decided to run it again! the planning is just about all the same as last year too, no big surprises about it.
and, as always, a little bit about your host. hi! we're Mito/Rev, our pronouns are ve/1t, and technically we're the same guy running it as last year but with a sprinkling of turns out theres more than one of us. we're collectively aromantic with some variance in how the lot of us experience our non-ace aro'ness.
schedule
prompt submission: May 1st to May 10th
prompt voting: May 11th to May 17th
prompts posted: May 18th (probably won't have fancy formatting)
downtime to pre-create: May 18th to May 31st
posting week: June 1st to 7th
guidelines
1: anyone can participate! whether you're non-ace aro, aroace, alloace, or alloallo, you can participate! just keep the works focused on aromanticism without the asexuality, yeah?
2: please tag your works properly! nsfw and dead dove creations are allowed and welcomed, but it'd be nice if ya tagged 'em
3: don’t worry about posting “late”! i’ll be scrolling around for things posted late through all of June, aim for posting during the week but it’s okay if ya don’t. however, if you do post late please tag the blog* to ensure we see it!
4: any fandoms** and any “ships” are allowed! this is a multifandom event, and, truthfully, the more the merrier and all that jazz!
5: most importantly, have fun with it!
aaaaaaaand, yep, that brings this post to a close!
all in all, we continue to hope that this event brings the non-ace aro community a little closer together, raises awareness of non-ace aro experiences in fandom, and most importantly, that everyone has fun with this event
arrow assets made by @aroworlds
if anyone has any questions about the event, the askbox is open as always
-Mito/Rev
*last year there were issues with posts not showing up in the tag, so if you desperately want your post to be reblogged here we would suggest just tagging us to make sure we see it
**the one stipulation to this is works by jk rowling and neil gaiman, we cant stop you from making them, but we wont be reblogging them
Chapters: 1/1
Fandom: Rabbit - Kyle Prue (Web Series)
Rating: General Audiences
Warnings: Major Character Death
Relationships: Dispatch | Tommy & Rabbit | Tommy (Rabbit Web Series)
Characters: Dispatch | Tommy (Rabbit Web Series), Rabbit | Tommy (Rabbit Web Series)
Additional Tags: Unreliable Narrator, Temporary Character Death, Existential Crisis, One Shot, Phone Calls & Telephones
Summary:
The phone call at the end of episode five goes a bit differently when Rabbit asks Dispatch for an odd last request. Dispatch wasn’t unfamiliar with the concept of mortality in his line of work, but somehow Rabbit has found a way to undo the inevitable.
“How are you alive?” Dispatch asked hoarsely, disbelievingly.
Rabbit gave a sort of huff, almost a laugh. “I thought you said no personal questions, Dispatch.”
And if that didn’t make Dispatch want to laugh and scream at the same time, throwing his own words back at him like that. Well two could play at that game.
“It’s more of an existential question,” Dispatch insisted.
It's time again, to send prompt suggestions for the main event, and start deciding when we'll have Rabbit Week!
Now that I wrote all those new possible dates out, I'm thinking maybe we should be voting on them in February too 🤦 maybe we'll need a tiebreaker. Either way, if schedule things change for you, lmk so I can account for that and hopefully accommodate. I mean, I don't really care that much when people post things anyway, I'm not gonna be mad about more Rabbit ever.
Speaking of more Rabbit. It's 2026 now. And Kyle Prue said season 2 was gonna be 2025. And last year I assigned different characters to different days, alongside your prompts, to encourage writing or drawing characters you might not have, to put a spotlight on them, because every character in this show is compelling imo.
I figured that by this time we'd have new to characters to consider. But we don't. So if we still don't by February or closer to March, I'll have a list of characters we didn't get to last year. I didn't start making it yet, but it'll be ready by the time we know if we'll have new characters before Rabbit Week. I'll start working on it after l finish this post.
I hope we get an update soon. Please bother me here or on my main blog if you see anything before me, because you will know if I know.

Give me late stuff until we get more Rabbit. We see a new frame of him, pencils down. I still have more to finish.
And worse case scenario, if there's no more Rabbit this year, then December 31st we'll call the cut off date, since I'll start preparing for the main rabbit week anniversary event like January 1st.
But then again. I was considering doing something this winter for yule and such. I feel like there might be more turn out, and we got a Christmas special.
But I don't know if I want to run all that personally. If someone else wants to run a seasonal Rabbit event this winter, I will promote it, I'll participate in it, and I'll help however I can if you need it.
Maybe I'll talk myself into it, maybe I'll throw up a poll. Either way, tell me things. Post any late Halloween stuff. Thank you, I love you.
