whoop whoop pride month may be over but its wrath month now, which gave me enough energy to finish those sketches id started last month and make that whole thread! 

i’ve been out as a queer mess for years now but only as the years go by do i allow myself to make characters that look like me and the people i know. please enjoy with me all those characters and their differences!

Can we talk about the bus bench?

That post going around about Aziraphale knowing about the bookshop got me thinking...

Honestly I think this scene kills me more than the bandstand sometimes. It’s more subtle than the bandstand, so it takes a few watches to notice, but look at them.

Look at Aziraphale’s body language. That’s not a happy wiggle. That’s an anxious wiggle. He doesn’t want to be separated from Crowley but he doesn’t know how to ask. He 100% knows about the bookshop when he suggests stopping there. But He is 100% terrified of Crowley’s response so he minimizes it. Wraps it up in something else, just like he’s been doing for 6000 years. But make no mistake, he is asking Crowley to save him one more time. Just as he always has.

And look at Crowley. Look at how he whips around and WANTS to respond with his normal bravado but he stops. You can actually see him swallow whatever he was going to say. He SEES. He sees his angel, he sees the fear and anxiety. He knows that feeling. He doesn’t like seeing it on his Angel. So he responds gently. Eases Aziraphale into it. Just like he’s been doing for 6000 years.

And then Crowley saves him.

Crowley risks it all AGAIN. He risks a fall. What if he’s reading it wrong? What if his angel rejects him again? And before you brush that off, think of the week they’ve had.

And you never hear Aziraphale’s response, but you SEE it. They board the bus together. And then in the morning they save each other, and they will keep saving each other for eternity.

And this is why this scene absolutely murders my ass. This is peak ineffable husbands for me.

is it just me or do you guys also feel that theres something about disney movies that brings out the child in us? specially the 90s kids

i can relate! growing up as a disney kid and seeing all these sequels and remakes being made (eg lion king and aladdin) bring so much nostalgia!!! like watching the FIRST SCREENING of incredibles 2 made me feel like a kid again and watching remakes and pointing out similar scenes makes me feel like a disney expert!!!
