Kakashi really told Sasuke to stop pursuing his revenge against Itachi and focus on the fact he has friends... a couple of weeks after Itachi tried to kidnap and kill Sasuke's best friend. This loser projected so hard onto Sasuke that he forgot their situations were completely different, your friends being killed on duty by a random enemy soldier isn't comparable with having an abusive brother that keeps coming back to murder everyone around you. It's impossible for Sasuke to move on after Itachi destroyed his whole support system, who or what is he supposed to rely on? Itachi got into Konoha like it was nothing, so Sasuke can't depend on communal efforts to defend him. He attacked Kakashi and put him into a comma, so Sasuke can't rely on his teacher for training or protection. He went after Naruto, confirming Sasuke's fears that he can't get close to anyone or his brother will come back to kill them. And then Itachi beat Sasuke up, broke his wrist and ribs and tortured him for a whole day with images of the Uchiha genocide. Any confidence or sense of security Sasuke managed to build since the massacre was utterly destroyed, so it's not surprising he abandoned his unsafe village, his useless teacher and his targeted friend to join Orochimaru. He thinks his options are either stay in the village and live in terror of Itachi coming back again or go to Orochimaru and get enough power to get rid of his abuser.

hi the wet dog post is so fucking funny because i'm white and literally last week i got in the shower and was like huh. it smells like wet dog my mom mustve been giving our dog a bath earlier. and when i got out i mentioned it to her and she said she hadn't bathed the dog. that smell was my HAIR 😭😭😭 had to go back and wash it all over again out of sheer embarrassment
