#I've been feeling some kind of way as of recently and I just logged in to ao3 and it made things worse #my latest adri fic flopped so badly #5 kudos. no comments. in 6 months.#I spent days writing just for five people to like it and that saddened me greatly #it's already hard to get enough inspiration and time to write. knowing it'll flop makes all motivation go away #I'd rather keep writing selfinserts and keep them forever in my drafts. that way my heart won't be broken lol.#I really don't think I'll be writing about him anymore.#vent I guess

Actually! I'm working on a fic about him as we SPEAK!! I'm not sure if people are still into him or if anyone would want to read my stuff anymore x) buuuut I'll write and upload that fic anyway. bc I love Adri. and I'm horny for him. again (how unexpected!)

I also had like one or two fics about him that I never finished and I've been going kinda FERAL these last few months writing various smut fics (not related to him or football in general, just misc. characters I love) so I hope I can keep that energy to resume those old stories!!!

oof okay I'm almost done celebrating our victory but here's my incredibly short review of Adrien's participation in this year's world cup

Sadly I couldn't watch all of France's matches either bc I was busy at the time they played or bc I wasn't in the mood to even look at the rest of the team heh

So a couple fun facts!!

Adri scored for the first time in a WC match!!!! after missing last WC he must have been soooo happy when it happened 💙

Not only that, he was France nt's very first goal in the whole tournament, on their very first match!! None of the other big figures in his team had the privilege of giving France their first goal and I'm super proud of him for that 💙🤍❤️

He got a yellow card on his last match, in the final, for something stupid he did and he totally deserved it, I'm sorry sweetheart but idc, I know he likes to play rough and sometimes gets yellow cards for it lol ☺️💕

Idk about other TV channels but the one I watched showed his tackle in slow motion afterwards and oh my God, his thighs, those muscular thighs, I legit got goosebumps irl. And then they showed a close-up of his face as he walked away and I almost blew a kiss at the screen

Idk if he got switched out due to that card (if he had kept that up and gotten another he'd have gotten sent off lol) or to make room for another player who'd be better for the penalties round if they ended up in a tie (spoiler alert: they did)

He played the whole last match with that damn ponytail restricting his hair. I hated that, I always have!!!! but after he joined the substitutes he let his hair loose and oh god,,, I felt so many things seeing him like that. A sight for sore eyes indeed

My man was so pissed they didn't win that he didn't say a word about the final for two days lol. Nothing about being proud of making it this far on his first WC or being happy to play against big players like Messi in such an important tournament

I thought I was over him after all these years but it's pretty evident that I'm NOT and I would MARRY him on the spot if given the chance

hellooooo! it’s always great to meet another person who fell for him lol. I’ve seen my fair share of videos about him soooo I recommend:

this short video where he answers some questions about himself (also he’s super smol and pretty on the first seconds jklsjs it’s a big fav of mine),

these two videos where the viewer (us!) is taken through a typical day in Adrien’s life (at least, as of ~2016 lol),

another Q&A video where he looks super pretty😍,

a video that’s completely in French so if you are, like me, not too good at understanding Spoken French™, it’ll be weird lol,

one from PSG’s Asia tour last year, where he speaks in English and answers a couple of questions,

also I don’t have much audiovisual reference (aside from this) but some of the songs he likes are by French rappers (and Drake), especially Nekfeu ((citation needed))

also not really “his favourite food” but here’s a video of him (and other PSG players) trying some odd asian dishes
