i have an idea for a second character and was wondering if anyone would be interested in a shop around the corner/you’ve got mail inspired plot??? basically, two people who can’t stand each other in real life and have all the sexual tension-filled banter. buuuut are annoymous friends online and are falling for their online penpal not knowing it’s each other.

so this is my spoiled little rich girl mitzi who’s the muffy in an arthur friend group

she’s a lifestyle columnist for a magazine and runs her own boutique called fit for a queen that sells bridal/prom/other special occasion dresses. it’s her pride and joy. she also allows people to rent her vintage jewelry for their special day so they can truly feel like the queens they are. 

her father is a wealthy businessman and she got all her business savvy from him. believes the only man a girl can depend on is her daddy. she grew up extremely sheltered, and sometimes says incredibly unintentionally rude things cause of it. 

is a domestic failure: gets her clothes dry cleaned, has a maid come once a week to tidy up her apartment, orders all her food.

stuck-up and self-righteous. extremely generous when it comes to her friends. donates last season’s clothes to the women’s shelter. and has a special discount on prom dresses for girls from low-income families. but aside from these exceptions, she’s extremely shrewd. 

loves all things girly and pink and purple. she’s all about combining old school glamour with cutting edge trends. is a romantic but is also practical. because of this she gives great relationship advice and isn’t afraid to tell you when you deserve better. never settles. has high standards for herself and those around her. probably in unrequited love with one of her best friends. drinks way too many pink drinks from starbucks

i rewatched 13 going on 30 the other night and I desperately want a plot where two childhood bffs are seeing each other for the first time in years because girl bff basically went AWOL after high school. now she’s back and it’s the first time they’re seeing each other in years. old feelings start flooding back out of nowhere but lol whoops he’s engaged (or at least in a relationship) so it’s awkward. pls someone join me in this angst and cuteness

so this is georgia, oldest of the st. james girls, dedicated wife and devoted mother. she was raised in a very conservative household, and being the golden child she is took everything her father said as truth. So her views on gender roles are a little 1950s backwards. whoops. she’s a homemaker and has a whole brood of children. she’s a pta mom queen b. you know the one who’s overly involved, needs to always be in control and is passive agressive to all the moms she thinks aren’t trying hard enough. “oh you brought store bought cupcakes to the bake sale helen? that’s fine, quantity over quality right?” when she’s not trying to be the perfect mother and doting wife you can find her using her little alone time reading romance novels. she used to dream of being a writer but there’s no time for that. anyway she constantly reminds herself the only women who write are ones who are unhappy in the life they have and need to write up some fantasy to escape into. and georgia happy with her life. well about 75 percent of the time.

wants: well i would love a husband for her. i have some many ideas of how this could go depending on what direction we want to take things in. i’m open to angst and fluff. 

also i would love for her to have an arch rival on the PTA just because i think that shit would be hilarious.

so i’m really excited about this site and wanna plot with erryone i’ll tell you a bit about my girl Marisol. She lives in Noble Harbor, and she’s part of a big hero 6 inspired group that me and star are doing. (which you should totally join!) She’s the honey lemon type and she’s a super sweetheart chemist. 

her outlandish backstory is that she’s a mermaid. She had to evacuate her home and the reasons she was given were hazy. Her father told her their city was getting dangerously polluted but there were whispers that shady shit was going down in the government. Her father’s a senator so if bad shit was going down Marisol could easily be targeted. Yes, her people have democracy not all mercultures are the same. She was shipped off to Noble Harbor since there were people there with abilities so she wouldn’t be a total, excuse the pun, fish out of water.

She was already passionate about chemistry back home but coming to Noble Harbor just ignited it more. There were so many different elements that existed on land that she’d never seen before and the fact that there were endless possibilities of what you can create with them was amazing. She’s dedicated her life to using chemistry to help others and the environment. It’s how she fights crime.

She’s obsessed with take pictures and is constantly making her friends take selfies with her. They don’t have that technology back home so she just loves that now she’s able to capture memories forever. She listens to music really loud while she works and she just wants to absorb as much as she can of human culture. She can come across as ditzy at times because of lack of understanding of certain human social cues. She’s super energetic and friendly. She gets a little too loud sometimes. Marisol wears bright colors all the time because it reminds her of the colorful tail she used to have. She’s very appreciative of her friends and their willingness to help her understand their world. However she hates when people patronize her or talk to her like a child. Unless she prompts you to don’t overexplain things to her or assume she doesn’t know what something is.

Zelda is basically Rapunzel true story.

Zelda was adopted by the lovely Garcia-Wallis family, a couple who had been trying and flailing to conceive a child of their own.They finally gave up and decided to adopt. Zelda knows nothing about her birth parents and would really rather never have to. Papa Garcia-Wallis died when Zelda was three so it was just her mom and her growing up. Due to this Zelda has always been ridiculously close to her mama

Zelda still lives at home with her mom. Not cause she can’t afford her own place but because her momneeds her okay. Anyway buying a house in this economy is dumb. She also helps run her mom’s Antique shop go there sometime they have really neat stuff.

Her dream is to be an artist. She loves painting more than anything and wants to open up her own gallery someday. She’s also been debating on starting an Etsy shop for her work but her mom told her that was a dumb idea. Her mom is really overbearing, and sometimes says things that make Zelda feel like crap. But she means well she really does.

Zelda is addicted to buzzfeed quizzes and lives her life according to them. She also loves Tinder and sends screenshots of dumb things boys say to her to her best friend Q. She’s never really been in a relationship and all she knows about them is stuff she’s seen on tv or movies: her favorites being anything staring Ryan Gosling, anything Jane Austen based, and anything star Ryan O’Neal circa the 1970s. She has a pet lizard she named Scott to be clever, it wasn’t that clever. Her old one was named Link.

Her best friend in the whole wide world is Q Park they met at summer camp when they were kids and have been bffs ever since. He’s the flynn to her rapunzel she just don’t realize it. they’re super adorable and he’s basically such a constant in her life that she never thinks twice about him.

Sean Daniel Kirkpatrick 35. Local. English Teacher. Hot Dad.

Sean has three great loves of his life: His daughter Colleen, deep dish pizza and Ghostbusters. If you don’t like these things then you’re wrong please leave.

Backstory time: Sean was raised in a suburb outside of Chicago. His dad was a firefighter his mom a nurse. He had two little brothers and an older sister. They were your standard tight knit working class family. It was rad. He loves them lots. He played on school baseball team all through out high school. He was well liked by his peers. Really things were pretty ideal growing up

The only problem Sean really had growing up was his sexuality. Halfway through freshman year he realized he had a crush on his best friend. Like they’d be sitting doing math homework and all he could think about was kissing him. Totally not a bro thing to do. It freaked him and he convinced himself that it was just a fluke. He only had a crush on him because who wouldn’t have a crush on their super awesome best friend. He didn’t like boys he was just spending too much time with his best friend.

He went off to college and met a very nice girl. See not gay. She was sweet and funny. They’d watch SNL together every saturday. one night halfway through weekend update she kissed him. It was alright. He didn’t hear bells but it was safe and comfortable. Maybe that fireworks is the stuff of myths. Three weeks later his hand collided with another boy’s in the library reaching for the same book. He felt sparks and couldn’t get him out of head for weeks. But he couldn’t break up with her because she was his best friend and breaking up would mean losing her.

So they kept dating. Even after they graduated. Then they moved to Grantley seven years ago when Sean accepted a job teaching English at the high school. Two months after moving he proposed because he figured that’s what he was supposed to do. They got married. A year and half later she got pregnant. Right before the baby was born he panicked and came out to her. They got a divorce a month and a half after their daughter Colleen was born. Things were tense and awkward between the two of them for almost two years. They’re best friends again now and kickass co-parents

Currently Sean has been out for the past three years. Except to his family back east he’s too scared to tell them. Otherwise he’s living a pretty rad life. He has the cutest daughter ever who lives with him mostly. He gets to teach english which is one of his favorite things ever. He love listening to his student debate the meaning and merit of the books he assigns.

Personality: He’s a sweet goofy goober of a guy. He’s loud and overprotective. He avoids confrontation a little much. He’s an avid baseball fan. He’s ridiculously into board games and 80′s comedies.

wants: I’d love some bros for him to hang out with. Fellow teaching buddies. I’d really love if someone made his ex wife/platonic life partner. Oh and he just recently started dating and he’s super scared and nervous about it. So a cute romance plot would be rad but not necessary.
