‘tis wedding season!

thought i’d post this throwback i did a little while ago of my beautiful friend Christina on her wedding day! hair and makeup both done by me, as well as her sister’s <3

believe it or not, some of my favorite looks and pieces of work come from relaxing, hanging with friends and experimenting. If you get bored one day, ask yer bff, mom, brother etc to use them as a guinea pig and take pictures. think of colors, textures, or characters that inspire you; you never know what you’ll end up with, but usually it’s a great way to add to your portfolio ;)

this year i had a little fun... from Misfits inspired faces to my very own version of my favorite superhero, The Winter Soldier...

their faces were created all with MAC chromacakes while my super sparkly metal arm was airbrushed on and then covered in layers of Lit Glitter. this company has sooo many colors and sizes of glitter - you can use it for your eyes or all over your body, and it STAYS ON for a loooong time! check them out!!!

i know it’s late- but this was a makeup job i did for a friend for halloween! she wanted to be a lion, so i teased her hair, and gave her face lots of gold tones and glitter to match her ears! big lashes help to achieve the sexy cat eye, which was what she wanted most out of her makeup.

Hello everyone! Last week I was lucky enough to be a part of the New York’s Star of the Day crew, doing makeup for the contestants and judges! Simone Boyce, Todd Pettengill, Patricia Stark, and DJ Enuff were all so much fun to work with! If you haven’t heard of it, the show will air on FOX 5 (NY) on Saturday, Sept 19th @ 5:30pm

I got to meet a ton of talented people, and loved hearing all their stories! Above pictured was me working on beautiful Paytra- check out her info HERE!

really missing the fall and i'm super over feeling like an ice cube and almost getting slammed into by giant vehicles that actually think they can drive on the road.

just uploading a little something i did this past weekend. my friend erika got married, and i was so happy to be able to do her wedding makeup for her! she looked absolutely beautiful! wishing her and her husband taylor all the best <3

i was super happy to lend an artistic hand and help out at my friend's party, where i got to transform a bunch of faces into, well... whatever they wanted! (all parties should be like this...) 

i had the pleasure of attacking greg raposo's face (if you don't know who he is, please- look him up! he's an awesome musician) and he ROCKED THAT SHIZZ! booya.

and for this shoot, all i had to do was beat some guy up!

i did the makeup for five band members and two extras in the music video 'Everything Burns' for the band Shallow Grave.

i absolutely love doing stuff behind the scenes, where you get to watch everything come together piece by piece. when you finally see the finished product, its one of the greatest feelings in the world!

it was a ton of fun helping the guys film this, and when the video is finished, i'll post it for everyone to see! i can't wait.

zombie photoshoot? uhmmm, yes?!

my friend (and awesome photographer) chris and i decided to have a little photoshoot at a condemned, abandoned psych center... because why not scare the crap outta myself!?

to create the 'zombie look', i used lots of liquid latex, tissues ripped up (yes, tissues...) and lots of fake blood. the ben nye sfx blood is pretty awesome, because it's made to be put in your mouth (and actually tastes like mint) you can get some here: ---- > http://www.frendsbeauty.com/ben-nye-stage-blood.html  <----  to create the color, i used the sfx color wheel from MUD, as listed in previous posts.
