Mystery Of The Wax Museum - The original wax museum morgue picture! (1933) In this spiritual sequel to Doctor X, Fay Wray, Lionel Atwill, and director Micheal Curtiz return for another dose of pre-code Technicolor delirium. A sassy reporter (Glenda Farrell) tries to get to the bottom of a mysterious morgue robbery and if it’s somehow connected to the new wax museum in town. This was the last studio picture made in the two-color Technicolor process, and as with Doctor X, it’s used to fantastically eerie effect.
