Thank you KT Tunstall fans for contributing $510 over 8 shows that will go directly to providing resources for LGBTQIA+ teens dealing with suicidal thoughts and depression.
We had the privilege of playing for thousands of wonderful people in 22 cities while on tour opening for @kttunstall . Meeting so any accepting, loving, curious, enthusiastic humans from all over the country has forever changed my perspective on the world.
We collected donations at the merch table for the Trevor Project, in exchange for a Maddie Ross button. We have decided to open it up to the greater internet as we drive back across the country. Once we are home from tour (and continually after that), we will donate ALL donations to The Trevor Project in the name of the fantastic KT Tunstall fans, who are tremendous allies, LGTBQIA+ members, and advocates for a better, more inclusive world. We collected $510 already from the amazing fans at the past 8 shows!! You can donate and get your button on my website (www.maddieross.com/merch )
The Trevor Project is an American non-profit organization founded in 1998 focused on suicide prevention efforts among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning youth. Through a toll-free telephone number, it operates The Trevor Lifeline, a confidential service that offers trained counselors.
