My crazy ass uncle, who I have stories for days about, once got mad because my mom didn't want to discuss politics because apparently people's adversity to discussing politics was what caused problems? And he got so mad he started screaming and hollering and when my mom left, hoping he'd calm down, he just got angrier. And he grabbed me by my shoulders and started screaming in my face, asking if I "knew what a civil war is", and my dad had to tell him to get off of me because I started crying. I was, like, 8.

Uh... When I was younger my father would yell alot and there was this time where me and my older brother and sister were hiding in my brother's room, which was the basement. At the time, I hadn't realized what was happening because my brother was playing games with me on his playstation. As I remember it, there was loud crash, then the sound of my mom screaming.

Later when me and my siblings went up, we found the glass cabinet shattered. I stepped in the glass and I still have a scar on the bottom of my foot from it.

Until recently, I thought that it was one of my stepdads that did this. I was wrong.

i was diagnosed/developed trichotillomania and dermotillomania (fuck spelling)- meaning as a way to cope with my anxiety and PTSD, i’d absolutely fuck up my skin. all through middle school i didn’t have any brows or lashes, and i am now like permanently covered in scarring from picking at my skin and cutting up myself. i also now take weeks to heal like a paper cut bc of how fucked my skin healing system is.

I don't actually know much about my trauma because I don't remember any of my life honestly! I remember a few very important memories and thats about it. im honestly struggling to remember anything i did within the past 2 weeks which may say something about my life!

However, I do remember having a motto of "work or you die" because i lived off grid for a few years as a young kid and my parents told me until no uncertain terms that if I did not help out, we would either starve to death or freeze to death, and as such, my incredible fear for my life which stops my "not-doing-work" thing was born!
