in my little pony universe youd go to a job interview and theyd be like so how does your cutiemark reflect your dedication to this position. And every time youd have to spew some bullshit about how your cutiemark of two tennis rackets actually means youre a team player and good at multitasking and view the market like a playing field. or whatever. and you wouldnt even get the job
my primary school made us a little leavers book and hosted a goodbye assembly for all the year 6's before we left and one of the things we had to put in the book was a memory of our time in the school, it could be anything, fun, silly, sad, whatever.
when it came time to write these memories i panicked and lied, i said i'd fallen asleep on the toilet and been woken up by the water touching my butt. i thought i was an obvious lie and i'd be in trouble for it but nope, they put it in the book
and then just before the goodbye assembly, they told us they were gonna read out some of their favourite ones and asked if anyone didn't want theirs read out and not one person said no, so i also didn't say no.
so then i'm sat up front in the hall, every kid in the school, all the teachers, and all our parents watching us, and they start reading out the memories. and they read my lie. in front of everyone. and everyone laughs. and then we all sing Greatest Day by Take That and i'm shaking the whole time because everyone's gonna know i lied but nope apparently i got away with it. so uhhhh i guess lying is good
