I have seen takes where Grace snores MEGA LOUD and Rocky is like ‘holy shit that’s so cute he’s purring’ but I raise you this as well: Grace is a teacher, which is like being a parent, so Grace has dad sneezes, which if you don’t know are MEGA LOUD sneezes that are kinda scary (bonus bonus: my dad yawns like someone yelling I hate it it scares me lmao, so this too) and Rocky hears it and is all ‘…holy shit that was so cute wtf noise was that?????’

Rocky is canonically super heavy when thinking of Earth’s gravity. He weighs soooo much more on Erid due to the higher gravity.

This means the pebbles are deceptively heavy. I love seeing fan art of Dr. Grace playing with the pebbles, and imagining that he constantly forgets how heavy they are. (The cuteness distracts him)

I was talking to someone about this and they said the pebbles were like the tungsten cube, and I died.

The day Rocky finds out about adrenaline and adrenaline rushes making humans wickedly strong, fast, and "immune" to injuries / pain would be so fire.

Walk with me:

Something happens on the ship. It's bad, like bad bad. And Grace is seriously injured but he's so hopped up on adrenaline that he doesn't even realize it. He fixes the ship / problem and then promptly passes out. Maybe he almost dies.

Later, Rocky is like, "What the fuck, question." Like bro why did you do all of that moving and fixing of the ship if you'd been impaled or whatever...

And so Grace says, "There's this hormone humans have. It's called 'adrenaline'. And it sort of allows people to push their bodies beyond limits. You'll feel it later and you'll probably regret it--" And he laughs, gesturing to his beaten up body. "But in that moment you feel nothing and can do whatever you need to."

Cut to Rocky being stunlocked by the sheer absurdity of the human body.

Okay but Rocky “snuggling” Dr Grace by standing heavily over him, as we routinely depict. But for Eridians this is prey-grasping behavior, like cats when they crouch over prey or a toy and feel how it moves with the sensitive hairs on their bellies (Rocky gets up on the xenonite and points his ventral plate at the ramen Blip-A to focus on it maximally closely, imo).

So for everyone else. this is like seeing someone put their hands around someone’s neck. And Dr Grace is just like awww my good friend Rocky who is so heavy I’m going to pat and hug him a little bit and invite him into my lap/over my body mass constantly. I expect it.

And Rocky is just like he literally expects it
