Klitz's parents were asleep and didn't answer his knocking at the door.
He has to crash at Eli's house.
Eli's always a creep when he's staying over, so every time he stays he keeps himself well far from encouraging or supporting his behavior in any way, and Eli knows.
Now, Eli's own actions have a new meaning in his own heart, while he lays in bed, in the dark, the cool sheets almost irritating.

Between guys, Klitz was the only one. If it was because he's his best friend, then he would've had the same behavior with Matt. But it's only Klitz. Eli finds himself craving Klitz's attentions and sexual closeness. All the nights spent watching porn together were just to feel him close in a sexual environment, of any kind.
His favorite male characters: Luke Skywalker, Ross from friends, Leonard Hofstadter. He always wondered why he chose characters so different from him, he's supposed to reflect in his favorite characters. Now he understands, he reflects Klitz in those characters. he doesn't admire those characters.
He's almost falling asleep as he hears the doorbell.
