worldrebel:
she’s not stupid– she knows someone has been staring at her for a long period of time. it was nothing malicious. if someone had wanted to attack her, they would have by now. she was easily able to ignore it at first, believing that whoever it was would move on by now. but they hadn’t which meant they might want something. the witch sighs, setting her cup of…well, it was once coffee and turning her head quickly to meet the eyes–
of a girl. huh. not what she was expecting.
a moment of silence beats by. an eyebrow is raised, hands coming to rest on her hips. “– is there a reason you’ve been staring at me for the past 30 minutes? “
To say she was startled by being caught was an understatement. A quiet gasp and the aversion of her eyes were quick and careless as Nene tried desperately to make this whole ordeal a little less embarrassing. She has done this before. She’s always had a terrible habit of watching people out of innocent intentions, but to be caught was few and far between.
“I-I’m sorry-” she sputters out, nervousness overtaking her. “You’re just really pretty and I’m so jealous, I couldn’t help but to stare I didn’t really know it’s been that long! I’m so, so sorry!”
Nene honestly felt like she was being scolded by a teacher for doing something stupid, rather than being in actual trouble. But that didn’t stop the guilt regardless.
