Not to be ironic but some of you seem to be immature. Every time I see a radical feminist say “stfu” or “die” or “kys” or just blatantly insult someone, completely ad hominem… I wilt a bit! Let’s be real! Some of you even use slurs?! Tf??

This is not what we’re doing here. The radical feminist is the logical, intelligent girl/woman with a clear head on her shoulders and a good grasp of what needs (and does NOT need) to be done. One thing we do not need to be doing is going after individuals who may be infuriating but really haven’t done anything but express their opinions. When we respond to those with opinions that differ from ours, even drastically, with buzzwords and vitriol, it’s just further driving home their idea that we’re hateful.

I mean, I guess some people probably feel like they already treat us as subhuman so you might as well reciprocate, but look… I was initially drawn to the online rad feminism scene because women on here were taking the most vicious, illogical remarks and responding to them with clear reasoning and properly cited statistics. Because you knew how to read a study and because you knew how to think for yourselves! Because of the wealth of different opinions within radical feminism! Because some of you were pro-separatism and some of you were against it and that was okay, to name an example.

Because a proper distinction was made between words and violence, too. But just because we don’t see words as violence doesn’t mean any words we say to people aren’t going to be received and responded to as violence. Especially when the words are kind of fucking violent! Honestly! Get ahold of yourselves, my goodness.

today is an extremely dark and sad day in the united states. this morning, the supreme court ruled to overturn roe v wade, a court decision that made abortion legal throughout the country. justice samuel alito, justice clarence thomas, justice neil gorsuch, justice brett kavanaugh, and justice amy coney barrett are the five who ruled to overturn roe v wade.

this is a very scary day, especially since 26 states already have abortion bans, or are planning to create bans. this november 8th, women need to stand up and come together, vote for people who will not betray us.
