A lot of you anti c's show your true colors when you talk about transage people and it's really fucking disgusting. Someone points out that chrono adults can be transage kids and yk syskids exist AT ALL and you just ignore it, are they not kids in your eyes? Are they not worth considering in this conversation? What's up with that?

what I dont understand, as someone who's system has syskids who are mentally on par with chrono adults (because we are a chrono adult), how saying syskids sometimes can consent is somehow pro-c? That's the implication I get from this viewpoint.
I'm anti-c, leaning comp-c, because im an abuse survivor that acknowledges that chronological age does matter when it comes to consent and always has. growth and development does matter, yet if we're talking about transage then it varies person to person if its between chrono adults, no?
You can acknowledge chono age while respecting someone's intra age, just... I don't get what this is trying to assume of anti-cs, like what, are we all bigots for believing consent is a requirement for most?
If you are a chrono adult, no matter if you have syskid alters or are transage (OtY) you have way more life experience and more education as well as are more developed physically and mentally. As someone with alters that call themselves kids, this take is extremely uncomfortable. It is up to each system what their alters can and can't do because age works differently for alters. Just because an alter feels like a kid, they still will be the chrono age and can be as mentally developed as the chrono age because of that, this is the same for transage folk. Both can be seen as kids but also their increased life experience and development can be acknowledged.
hey just a very aggressive reminder that you absolutely do not have to like p//dos or z//s to be radqueer. i donβt know how the fuck this started. being radqueer means inclusivity for all queer people, including paraphiles. but just because theyβre also queer doesnβt mean that we all have to like them??? queer people are not a hivemind ??? for fucks sake?? terrible people can be queer too??
There is nothing wrong with having boundaries or a certain DNI. I previously had people in this community on my DNI list for my own comfort.
But you do not get to sit there and exclude them. No, you don't have to interact with them, but all paraphiles deserve a place in the radqueer community. ALL of them.
You ask "how this started" - literally with the very first coining post. It goes into depth about supporting paraphilias, how paraphilic disorders are different and that the only line between a paraphilia and a queersexuality is societal norms and judgement.
Even the newgen "radinclus radqueer" post specifically notes the acceptance of paraphilias. πΎs & πΊοΈs are paraphiles. They are included.
You can claim to not be excluding them, but by making posts like these, you are. By calling them "terrible people" for having attractions you are perpetrating paramisia in a community that is meant to accept paraphiles. By referring to them as "p//dos" (which is derogatory) and "z//s" you are excluding them.
A boundary stops being a simple boundary when you outwardly attack the group you are uncomfortable with.
things people have done to help me during a psychosis episode
i was on the buss and i hallucinated bugs crawling all over my hands, so my friend pulled my hoodie sleeves over them with permission and held my hands through the sleeves to "keep them off". they used the logic you would in a real bug situation.
i went nonverbal in a bad one in class, so my friend wrote me a note to give to the nurse since the teacher wouldn't let her go with me.
i often am very paranoid about the delusion that meat is actually rotten, so my dad will sometimes eat a bit of it before me
instead of telling me my delusions arent real, they help me through it using logic like it was real. they dont tell me that nothings going to hurt me in my sleep, they stay with me to keep me safe. then when it passes i can realize its not real
edit: i am not a doctor. i am not saying this will work for everyone, the only reason this works for me is because I have short term delusions typically. Typically, it helps me most when people point out the things not real in a loving manner AND help me as though it is

I think a lot of you (radqueers and antis alike).. just.. straight up don't understand the use of the trans prefix in transID... like,, why are we creating rigid boxes and trying to act like there's basically a wrong way to be transID ???
There is no wrong way to be transID. The trans prefix covers a wide array of experiences; from identifying directly as your transID,, feeling like you should've been your transID,, to ofc wishing you were your transID and so on. It can be dysphoric,, or non-dysphoric. It can be for fun,, or for comfort. It all boils down to the label user and their personal experience. The definition should mold to you,, not shove you in a box.
One thing we should not do,, as the transID community,, is create boxes on how ppl should identify with their transIDs. While it may seem validating in the moment saying things like "trans___ ARE ___" actually generalizes and alienates a lot of transID folks.
For instance ; I'm roboabled (specifically,, I feel like I *should* have a metal prosthetic left arm and the fact I do not brings me dysphoria). But,, if someone were to walk up to me and say I was actually cisprostheticarm in attempts to validate me ; it would fall flat at best and make me dysphoric it worst. It's just not true for me,, and denying my reality at some attempt to validate me is rlly frustrating and upsetting.
That all is to say that we as the transID community are so very diverse,, and everyone's experiences should be listened to. "WishID" is a good alternative for those who specifically resonate with "wishing they were ___" but it is not a proper replacement for transID altogether because not everyone identifies that way. There is MORE than one way to be transID and there is NO wrong way to be transID. Just be you and use the labels you want the way you want !!!

"delusional people dont know theyre delusional, thats the point of a delusion" is absolutely not true. there is lots of people with delusions who know its delusions but cant shake off the feeling
and no, reality checking does not help most people (coming from someone with delusions + psychosis myself) and you should NEVER reality check someone unless they want to be !!

Wether you decide to βfeed intoβ delusions or try to ignore them, please do not reality check anyone. Reality checking can cause extreme distress for the individual and possibly cause an array of different negative response.
Sometimes they can be harmless, especially if the person is reality checking themselves or if someone is reality checking someone that does not have any mental illnesses or disorders. It is not uncommon for people to casually βreality checkβ their friends when theyβre being irrationally due to a new relationship or something similar.
That being said, reality checking someone youβre friends with is way different than reality checking random people online, no matter if itβs harmless or not. To properly and safely reality check someone, you donβt just tell them that theyβre wrong and/or delusional. It takes patience and kindness to do it appropriately. If you have to get someone back to reality, itβs better to slowly do tasks that have a reality oriented approach. Normally this is taught to someone if they seek treatment for delusions of any kind, mostly commonly it is done for folks with dementia or schizophrenia with auditory or visual hallucinations.
Donβt cause folks with delusions more struggles than they already have to deal with. You are not a professional and if you are a professional, youβd know better than to reality check someone randomly. Be kind to people.

Hi folx! I recently posted a huge poll asking where USAmerican radqueers are based. That poll is still up and able to take answers, but I'm going to post the first round of results today.

Radqueer β TransID or anything for that matter. Radqueer is a ideology; it's a personal belief system.
I know this seems odd to state, but lately Iβve personally noticed something within the community...that's...honestly more so a personal squick than anything else.
Before the "how dare you piss on the poor" audience comes along: No, I'm not telling you to stop posting about your TransIDs...HOWEVER that being said, being Radqueer β TransID, Paraphile, or even being in the LGBTQIA+ community by default.
Radqueer, at its base, is a idea and concept of ideals that you should let people live and regardless how "weird", "freakish", or "confusing" someone is, they should be respected as such. It is radical inclusion on the basis that one is being "like that" in good faith.
Dare I say that Radqueer and PLUR (Peace Love Unity (and) Respect) are holding hands; they're extremely similar to me, the rave culture being the backbone of the PLUR mindset the only difference.
Trans Identities, paraphiles/philias, and the LGBTQIA+ community, are extremely common in the circle because that's what the belief system attracts.
Saying this, TransIDs are a good backbone to the community, if you're Radqueer you usually do accept and support TransIDs. The ideology does support this by default, but it's never limited to just that.
It attracts the ones that're genuinely different, out casted, hated; the minorities, & promises a place to just...be. They know, in this circle of radical inclusion, they won't be harmed -- at least by default, actions speak louder than words -- and will feel safer here than other places.
I feel like a LOT of antis don't understand this; Radqueers don't own queerness. Someone can use TransID terms, be a paraphile, and be whatever they want -- antis would clock them as Radqueer just because of this -- it's annoying, in my opinion, and in some cases could land others in genuine danger.
I genuinely want the Radqueer community to stop putting the community itself on a pedestal. Stop believing this set of beliefs is a big fucking deal -- it's a personal belief system -- it shouldn't be praised like the only choice.
Yes, before anyone says anything, I do think educating on topics like Trace, transage, transneurodivergence, etc needs to happen. There's way to many uneducation people, it's fucking annoying.
I just feel like the focus of the community only being about TransIDs is misleading. Honestly, when I say this, I can only suggest talking about your paraphilias in fucking morse code /lhj (light hearted joke) because any mention of πΊ will get a goddamn laser sight pointed on your forehead.
I genuinely feel like we as a community need to stop hiding in our own tags, they'll always be home, but we need to stop hiding under a rock. Be open on your mains as radqueer, but just...be passive about it..don't make it a big deal. Because it's not.
When you post about your queerness post it in main tags, if you need to cut off reblogs and comments. Keep making blogs -- it's annoying but they cannot keep doing this forever.
When you post your headcanons about your blorbo being transautistic or transrace post it in main tags.
You will get harassed, it's dangerous, but antis want us to be afraid. Antis want us to be like this; we cannot give them this.

With all of the antis that pretend to be in the community (especially with the recent pt stuff) and with myself back to brand new to the community, I understand why discord servers would be anxious about letting me in. Do you have any tips for interacting with the community?
My discord is the largest Radqueer server and does allow a lot of people in. Outside of that, starting up social medias that are Radqueer based are the easiest way. The longer you have active Radqueer social medias, the easier it is to have evidence that you are safe for other Radqueers. The community is pretty social and people like to have small get together for Radqueers of games which could interest you.
Im going to be soooo real here, the pt situation wouldn't have been so bad if we just changed the location or just went to the 18+ server.
Like yes this is an all ages event, but also i guarantee some antis wouldn't have done anything about it if we did, not many, but some. Also it's harder to report "inappropriate things" if you're on the 18+ server.
I understand why we didn't? Kinda?? but if we were just going somewhere else anyways, nothing would've happened by starting in the 18+ server. This isn't like an irl event, nothings really gonna happen from someone being there.

I don't really understand this push by people to put minors in an adult space, I don't care about if minors do it on their own, in their free time. If an organization does an event that puts minors in an 18+ space, it is the organizations fault and they are responsible for any of the content that the space reveals to minors. Anti-Radqueers would have a blast with that and it would be an insult to the Radqueer Empire mission.
We also did end up moving the location to somewhere else that didn't have a report button and was marketed as PG-13.
donβt try and βrecoinβ our terms without permission. Itβs disrespectful and will earn you a block. It really isnβt that hard to just go βhey can I make an alt term for this/recoin/alt flag?β
