So, as I was saying in my note to Melisenda, I think Radulfus was friendly w Amia’s big bro ++ I think asp their dads talked about marrying Radulfus to Gresilda so yeah they probs saw each other!  Also, if she needed any help sneaking out, Radulfus is all for adventure and big, bad ideas so he def would’ve been down to help out w that hahaha

OOC | Radulfus & Melisenda

So, I feel like asp, there may have been talks to marry Gresilda and Radulfus and, obv, that didn’t work out (idek which one of the two is more relieved tbh alksdjflksdjkf) but Radulfus probs still teases Melisenda about how he was almost her bro.  Also!!  I feel like Radulfus may have been friends w Gawain before he went and got himself murdered by Cassius Montagu #awkward so, net effect, they probs saw each other a good bit.  I can also see where, now, Radulfus may flirt w Melisenda to allay suspicion that he’s actually fucking his wife’s sister bc I think he’s v obv that he’s not esp into Jacquetta hahaha (++ to make Alivia jealous lkajsfkldsjf) but yeAh obv idk how Melisenda feels about this.  He also has zero real interest in Melisenda sooooo there’s that too alskdjflkjsdjf

Honestly, Radulfus is just like ‘wtf’ at the whole Normand & Arnald thing and so I feel like he gives Arnald advice sometimes, but half of it is like how to actually stand up for himself, etc...and the other half is actually just a prank ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

So, I’m sure these two have met asp just bc I’m CERTAIN Adela ALWAYS included an invitation to Helena for every ~event in the west - it was just a question of whether or not Helena was well enough to attend, any given time, and given all the years she was there and that she was finally deemed well enough to come home, I do feel like she may have attended at least one (aka Adela’s greatest triumph ;D)  Anyway, even so, I don’t think Radulfus would’ve visited her at Vysova much, but I’m sure at least once he wound up there, if nothing else hahaha  But yeah, Radulfus isn’t super ambitious or anything, his one ambition is to marry Alivia but that’s only bc he’s in love w her (or thinks??? he is???? it’s unclear which hahaha)  Like, as long as the queen doesn’t bother him, he’s not gonna bother her (unless Alivia asks him to hahaha) and he’s not the sort of just...hang out w some kid whose in her sickbed hahaha so yeah!!  Idek!!

So, Radulfus fought in the Southern Isles - we should come up w a name for that war btw esp since there’ve been lots of conflicts between Aragoth and the Southern Isles so I don’t think the Southern Isles War would work...Or we could call them en masse The Southern Isle Wars/Wars of the Southern Isles and call each one The First War of the Southern Isles, The Second...But that’s a lot to say aalskdjfklsdjf  AlsO, picture all the epic poems Lysander wrote when Aragoth won about how the dragon burned out the sun askdljflksdjfkljkdsf #nerdalert

Anyway!!  As a result, I feel like these two might know each other!  Radulfus would probs have a bit of man crush on Romayne tbh he’s like ‘that dude knows how to liVE’ ;DDDDDD

OOC | Radulfus & Alexandir

So, Radulfus fought in the Southern Isles - hoping he wouldn’t have to marry Jacquetta ldksjflkjf #whoops  Anyway, even tho he’s a more minor noble, I do feel like the nobles are more likely to associate w each other, etc, so I’m sure there’s at least a chance that these two know each other.  I def think Radulfus would enjoy Alex and his wit quite a bit!!  Radulfus does have some ~authority issues and he’s v impulsive, but I also feel like he’s a pr redoubtable warrior, so he’s handy to have around in that respect if not the others.  I also feel like Alex is someone he could listen to more readily - but Radulfus ~does want glory etc so there’s also that laksjdlkfjsdf he’s a hot mess but he does mean well...for the most part...unless you’re Remon Vipont ;D

What! A! Special! Relationship!  So we’ve chatted about them before and, before I make the mistake of just leaving it at that, I’m gonna sort of pinpoint the things I remember about it lakjsdfljsdfd so pls pardon the recap stuff hahaha

So I do think that Radulfus is honestly, truly in love w Alivia!!  But I think he’s ~also in love w an idea he has about her - like, I think there’s a side he doesn’t entirely see?????  Like, it would shock and horrify him to think that maybe she doesn’t love him or their daughter like he does??????  That being said, I do think he’s mostly pr chill about sharing her w Remon, etc - I mean, it’s not his ~favorite thing but it’s worth it to have her ++ he ~does think the sneaking around is kinda fun but he’s also pr ready to put that aside and get rid of Jacquetta and Remon and marry Alivia and be a big, happy family at long last!!

I also do think, the first moment he ever saw the du Fey girls, as a boy, he clapped eyes on Alivia and was just absolutely thunderstruck plus then he was told to love her sister and I think that actually sort of sealed the deal for him that he could never love Jacquetta lksdjfaklsjdafj he doesn’t do well w being told what to do esp w things like that hahaha
