These remain one of my favourite spontaneous purchases btw. Thank you to me of the past for watching the Winter Night's Lazzo trailer (and hadn't even been playing G/enshin at that point LMFAO) ... and latching onto 1 (one) snooty pretty man.

SOME SMALL HEADCANONS.

He enjoys playing five finger fillet. This was the case even when he was still human; it's just funnier now since being stabbed through the finger doesn't really rate.

Dislikes hot weather. Doesn't mind mild warmth.

He's comfortable sleeping on hard surfaces (hello rock beds we saw in Khaen'riah).

Gets bored and frustrated quickly when hypotheticals are discussed; just point him to something he can do.

He still prefers to stay on the edges of crowds so he can observe, and is still socially awkward when he isn't playing a part / actively manipulating someone.

Would rather carry you than slow down so you can keep up with him.

Doesn't know how to swim and doesn't see the point in learning (he doesn't need to breathe and he could just walk along the ground if he has to traverse small stretches of deep water).

Enjoys stormy weather and would absolutely sit on a front porch to watch lightning.

He, admittedly, isn't paying much attention and hasn't been for… a while now. It isn't that he's being rude on purpose ; rather, Rerir has been focusing on cleaning and polishing his gauntlets and re-wrapping his hands and forearms ( his attire might look messy, but there is purpose behind why certain patches of skin go exposed and others are covered up ) .

But when he runs that question back, he pauses —— and blinks.

‘ Close friends’ is… definitely not how he would describe whatever the hell is going on between him and Pantalone. He can't imagine regular, platonic close friends practically devour each other whenever they're alone. Or that one sits at the other's feet and falls asleep with their head on the other's thigh. … or that they make a competition out of who can give the other person the most bitemarks and scratches.

… None of which are appropriate answers to Isabella's question.

Oh, Pantalone will not be pleased when he hears the little lady has escaped her chambers again. … but she isn't causing any trouble, Rerir's mood isn't terrible, and he isn't in a hurry to be anywhere. He'll give it some time before he coaxes her back to where she's supposed to be.
