Felt like sketching tonight so I took it upon myself to try sketching a snake for the first time, especially since I have reference pics in my own gallery (someone I know owns one)-

Forgot to add another layer or two, hence why I couldn’t blend out the actually sketch lines but tbh that’s probably not even a bad thing-

It’s really nothing special and just me using Goodnotes to play and test shading again after years tbh but it was still fun

I finally found time to sketch what I wanted to try for a few days already so here we go with my first attempt of skulls. Done mostly from touching and feeling around my own head tbh but occasionally I checked on Pinterest to make sure I’m not too far off-

I sketched again last night while half-watching (but more listening) to some true crime show. Only for the stag beetle I had Pinterest open for reference btw since it’s been my first time drawing one of these but not one specific picture but more like in general

Just was somewhat bored while watching some tv show so I simultaneously did some bee/bumblebee practice sketches (no reference pics btw)

Was in the mood to sketch last night but didn’t feel like continuing with the dogs at the time so tried my luck on human stuff again. Again no reference pics and kinda just a mix of basic anatomy knowledge and vague memory from when we had to learn the basics during art class back in high school. Still needs a hella lot of work tho, especially when it comes to faces and hands-

Currently teaching myself how to draw dogs, so far without any reference pictures and only based on my memories of every dog I’ve ever encountered/seen and some basic anatomy. Current progress aka sketches from day 1&2 (even if they’re still kinda bad):

Felt creative today but didn’t know what to draw (as usual) and ended up recreating the concept of boo-bees (aka bees dressed up as ghosts) after my aunt and I had a convo about how it’d make a cute partner motive (tbf we were technically talking about tattoos) if there’s also a ghost dressing up as a bee and they’d hold hands.

Oh and I found out how to make time lapse videos-

And that apparently I’m much better at drawing somewhat realistic things instead of… like… ghosts…

Wanted to draw something but wasn’t sure what but it’s fall so I settled on this. Took me about three or so hours btw but for a change I happen to like it

Second attempt at making art on my iPad. I used to draw a dragon years ago (with a reference pic) and tried to recreate it from memory cause I couldn’t find it I was too lazy to look for it but technically know where it is sooo enjoy? I guess? Even if I do know it looks not like the one I drew back then?

Recently got myself an iPad and started to try and make some art. And since I don’t have many people I could share this with, I thought I might as well post it here :)

Btw I’ve never touched digital art before (also I haven’t drawn anything at all in literal years) so this one is basically the one where I got familiar with the handling etc. Reference pic was this and I’m using the app Sketchbook
