“You really don’t have to do that.”
“But I want to do that. I told you I’ll get you a stuffed toy, and that is what I will do.”
“Nope, I’m not busy at all! Why?”
“I’m taking you stuffed toy shopping.”
“I’m… I’m sorry, I totally zoned out. What was that?”
“I was just going to ask you if you’re busy.”
“Okay, first off girls do not sound like that. And second of all, being called adorable means nothing when you’re not a little kid.”
“I tried. Well, there goes my self esteem.” He pretended to be upset.
“Well darn,” she said, letting out an over dramatic sigh. “Yeah, that’s probably the best idea. There has to be someone willing. And you know, I really do think we could pull off anything we wanted to.”
“Ha!” He stuck her tonge out at her. “Someone who’s willing to not get paid, hopefully. But they will get a share of what we earn. Of course we can.”
“A couple of likes on your photos don’t mean anything.”
“What about a comment of that girl saying…” He paused and tried to mimic a girl’s voice. “omg, you’re adorable.”
“You did not just say that.”
“Seriously. I think some of your friends found me cute.”
“Are you planning on becoming a rapper?” Skipper grinned, almost wanting to hear the songs he would release. “Yes, we might. But something tells me it will be worth it. Like getting all the free pizza donuts we want.”
“Secret.” Raffy winked at her. “Sounds tempting. Let’s find a chef first, yes? Then we’ll see if we could actually pull thiss off.”
“Skiffy the Rapper. I bet those songs would be wonderful,” she laughed. “I do too. It’s unusual. Maybe we could find a chef willing to work for us? I could try but that may be a disaster just waiting to happen.”
“If I become a rapper will name myself that. If I become successful, you’ll see.” He laughs. “Like us! We might spend a lot for this project.”
“Rapper and Skiffy. Skiffy sounds hilarious,” she laughed, shaking her head, “Some name combinations just don’t work. But yes, we need to get this idea approved immediately!”
“Skiffy the Rapper.” Raffy laughs. “Hey, I like Skiffy. Who makes the actual pizza donuts?”
“We could do that! We could call it Raffy and Skipper’s Pizza Donuts – or Skipper and Raffy’s Pizza Donuts. We sound like a crime fighting team.”
“Let’s call it Rapper’s Pizza Donuts, or Skiffy’s Pizza Donuts. Yes, we do.”
I’ll have to ask around then, I suspect I didn’t miss much. I wasn’t gone for too long.
Ah, but this is the Wasteland. A lot can happen in a short amount of time. That’s what I learned recently.
Awesome. So, did I miss anything important while I was gone? Aside from the whole hurricane thing of course.
None that I know of but I may not be the right person to ask. I’m not updated on everything.
“Donuts and pizza, pizza and donu–” Cutting herself off with a gasp, Skipper sat up straighter. “Pizza donuts! Donut pizzas! Why is these not really popular things? A huge pizza in the shape of a donut, a donut with pizza toppings… the possibilities are endless! We need to get this on the market pronto!”
“Pizza donuts sound good. Let’s start a business here.” He laughed.
Jordan thought about it, trying to figure out what was available for the two of them to do. “Well, we could go shopping. Or watch movies… or people watching is always entertaining.” Jordan raised an eyebrow, gesturing to a man nearby, clearly desperately attempting to get the number of one of the employees as an example.
“Okay, let’s go shopping. I’ll be your bag holder. Let’s watch a movie too, if you want.” Raffy looked at what she was gesturing at and saw the man. He turned to face Jordy and laughed.
You haven’t met Dec yet? You’re missing out then, he’s a great guy. You should talk to him sometime.
Sounds like it. I will when I get the chance.
