I couldn’t do a simple owl for this one, so I made 3 with personality. The dragon owl at the end is my favorite, but I love them all the same~ 🦉

Day 14 of Mab’s Drawlloween “Skeleton” Made on @procreate 

Shelly Skellyton finally achieved the appearance she always wanted, even if it’s temporary. The other girls didn’t seem too thrilled with her new “look”. I will be posting the remaining drawlloween later through the day! 🎃 It’s been a sick weekend, now it transitioned to the week..🤮

Day 13 of Mab’s Drawlloween Club: “Grave” Made on @procreate 

During the making of this illustration, it was hard not to look back at all the relatives that I had lost. Recently this year, my great-aunt left us. We were close, I loved her very much. She’s always on my mind, especially when buying certain Mexican snacks or see a “Coca en bolsa” (Coca-Cola in a bag). My aunt use to own a small corner store where she would sell a little bit of everything. She loved that shop. I know I’ll see her again some day. Take time and always remember those who are not with us anymore, never forget them. 🕊

Day 12 of Mab’s Drawlloween Club “Vampire”

Makes you wonder what horrors lie within her hair. For this illustration’s body shape I was heavily inspired by the actress, Vampira from classic films. She had an extremely tight cinched waist, making her overall silhouette memorable and unique.

Day 11 of Mab’s Drawlloween Club “Bat” 

This broomstick might make a fancy method of transportation, but it make a fabulous “bat couch”. 🦇

Day 10 of Mab’s Drawlloween Club “Lagoon Creature”

 Now looking at this, I made a bit of a reverse mermaid... still a fish, but no arms, just legs and a tail. 🐟 Scary to think he can run after you.

Day 9 of Mab’s Drawlloween Club: “Baby Spider”

“Trick or Treat” said the little baby spider witch. I’m not a big fan of spiders, actually I’m not a fan at all. So, I tried my best to make this one cute enough for me not feel grossed out.

Day 8 of Mab’s Drawlloween Club: “Yokai”

During her trip to Japan, this little witch made friends with a Tsukumogami who helped her during her time in need. She specializes in magical creatures and spirits, so it doesn’t come as a surprise.

Day 7 of #mabsdrawlloweenclub“Haunted Object”

 Made on @procreate | Many witches have hobbies, some like to practice flying, selling charms on Etsy, while others have spooky haunted collections. This particular one is fond of haunted bows, one for each of her moods. Making her feel not so alone, at times.☠️👻

Have you ever heard of a haunted goldfish bowl? Sounds like a perfect pet, dark and sad, but less maintenance. Day 7 will be posted later on today!✨

Day 5 of Mab’s Drawlloween Club: Laboratory 

Our little witch was never one for the Sciences. Potion making and bottling elements are a great difficult task to accomplish. Though wanting to be a proper witch, she’s wasn’t gonna give up just yet. She will try and try again, until she finally learns how to bottle up confidence.

Day 4 of Mab’s Drawlloween Club: “Mushroom” 

Made on @procreate | I’m surprised at myself for having a hard time figuring out what to do with today’s prompt. I’m fascinated with strange shaped objects from nature, mushrooms being a perfect example. There’s so many types that range in color and shapes. I think I didn’t do enough research into this one. Still, I’m alright with the final image, but not completely satisfied. I think I’ll make a couple more just to ease the itch 🍄

Day 3 of Mab’s Drawlloween Club: Cryptid.

For today’s prompt I went with a classic that I have known since I was an infant.  El Chupacabras (goat-sucker) is a story that’s been passed around through most of Latin America. A creature that is said to roam the monte (brush field) seeking for goats to feast on. Well, not specifically goats, I think he got his name because that was all he mostly attacked. The process for this illustration started out a bit tricky. My initial sketches were not giving me the feel as the other first two in the prompt. I redid the sketches with a more comedic design to keep steady pace.

Day 2 of Mab’s Drawlloween Club: Black Cat

For today’s prompt I went through several different ideas before finally getting to the final design. I decided to stick with something that could be possibly related to the previous drawing. Perhaps making a possible story that could connects both character. This was a little challenging since drawing four legged creatures is out of my comfort zone. Something to add to my practice sessions.
