shitty unfinished sketches, cause i’m  a lazy and impatient artist but here are some scene redraws I did of the human versions of Mordecai and Rigby as i remember us. my bro is my rigby and apparently i managed to draw pretty much exactly what he had in mind too. so that’s really neat. been doing this redraws partly out of kinfeels, but mostly out of an excuse to practice non-bland poses/expressions and redrawing the same character. pretty proud of them other than the super ultra unfinishedness of them xD

But for reals, I feel like Mordecai and Rigby probably enjoy going green at least every once in a while. I mean, they’re laid back, lazy, and like to eat and play video games. It’s a perfect stoner stereotype.

Originally, J.G. Quintel, the creator of Regular Show, created the concept and characters for the show for a college project. One of the initial animated shorts featured two guys working at an AM PM gas station getting high on acid. 

This short justifies the entire show. It’s just some dudes on a bad trip.
