Here's the wip of me using their latest references to make their new ones. My art style hasn't changed much over the years ngl but I can tell its gotten more clean and consistent. The change in some of them is so cool to me. Im gonna revamp 90% of their lore and im so excited to actually
We need more Fatal_Error sans around here fr like I miss him so much. I want him to come back so bad in Underverse but it he doesnt ill understand because he'd cause a huge issue for Cross and Swap(if he comes back). Probably be an issue for Dream & Nightmare too as they share code with swap sans but they are also outcode sans so idk if that will do anything.
Honestly I love the idea of Fatal_Error coming in and like kicking Errors ass fr
The shift between Flowey & Papyrus fanart vs fanfic is so funny to me.
Fanart wise : its typically really cute and sometimes really deep. Most times its just them being really sweet besties (even if flowey wont admit it)
Fanfic : its all angst and abuse. Its so well written and its genuinely really interesting to read, because its so fun to interpret what Flowey did when he could reset. Of all the main characters the one he could mess with easily is Papyrus. That also is the closest he can get to stalking Sans without actually being around sans
I don't care what the masses say but Prime Empire was really fun and aesthetic wise great. I love the prime controller weapons so much and i genuinely mourn not getting a Cole avatar especially since hes the 2nd biggest gamer
Actually while looking up a reference for Jays weapon I realized his weapon change is genuinely one of the better ones from s11-s15 like his kusarigama where such a good swap from nunchucks and they are a way better melee weapon. I wanna draw them again ♡
Jay should like choke someone out with them one day......
Saw it mentioned on twitter but I find it insane that the explanation of Lloyds powers is exactly the same as the Ninjago Movie lmao
In the movie Lloyd says his powers are life and his connection with the other ninja are what helps fuel it which is exactly the same reasoning in the show now. What where the writers on when writing DR s4? Did they giggle in the writers room when they where like "ok ok now reference the Ninjago movie"
I finished TYE s3 after bing watching the entire after 4 years after reading the manga (that we had to that point)
I really liked the modern/modern day arc. Its actually now my fav with the Renril arc being second. Granted im catching up on the manga and reading the final Future arc but man the modern day arc was so fire and I dont get how anyone can hate it.
I kinda wanna yap about some of the points ive seen people complain about. Spoilers for all s3.

1) Fushi is dumber in s3
I wouldnt say Fushi is dumber, actually I enjoy how they act in s3 and I feel like a lot of people who dont enjoy the season/arc miss like battle serious Fushi. In s3 Fushi acts the most human out of any arc which i LOVE so much for them. Ever since they had the consciousness of human understanding id say around, the Gugu arc, they've aimed to be as human as they can.
But in time being human ment having friends and family, then there was people and things that wanted Fushi dead even if it ment killing innocents.
So Fushi isolated themselves. Alone on an island for 40 years, and when they went back into civilization they'd been forced into a mindset of war. It wasnt instant but overtime the longer they talked to Bon,Kai,Messar, and Hairo the more Fushi only saw themselves as a fighting tool. As this immortal being that can only help the people without getting too close to them even if it meeing over exerting themselves. Only Kahaku saw Fushi as more than immortal but they're relationship was so strained untill the end when Fushi was mentally, physically, and emotionally exhausted and opened up to Kahaku.
We had a whole turtle scene of Fushi lesring to let go and not be possessive like Hayases bloodline. Actually there where a lot of scenes showing how Fushi acts a lot like Mizuha-her nokker without realizing it.
Then the modern era happened and for once Fushi was doing normal human stuff : cooking dinner, going to school, making friends, shopping, all with their friends and family. Just like they dreamed, untill they saw the nokkers didnt die out. They panicked and they lied. Like all human do they lied about the situation, bottled up their emotions, tried to fix it themselves, didnt listen to advice they asked for, and even went as far as asking for help from someone thats a source of trauma for advice just to find an answer anywhere, just ultimately ignore it or breakdown from it.
The entire conversation with Satoru about how Fushi is just like the nokkers when they use other people's bodies is so fucking good.
Tldr : Fushi is just being a human trying to get their shit together. It happens.

2) Fushi is too trusting of Mizuha
As far back as Hisame, Fushi had given themselves the mindset to not blindly trust or hate Hayases bloodline as not all of them are the ones who killed their family, but always been on edge of them as every one of them has a nokker and tends to get somewhat possessive.
While we only saw two ancestors fully before Mizuha they both opened Fushis eyes a lot about how they shouldn't look at one person to rationalize everyone's personality. Both Hisame and Kahaku where but products of being born in a cult and Fushi saw that. They really did. They wanted to give the benefit of the doubt to both of them.
Mizuha was in the same situation. A normal girl with an overbearing mom raised in a cult and Fushi wanted to get to know her to see if the bloodline has really changed. Kahaku was their biggest example that change can happen, hell they called Kahaku a friend. The admiration for Mizuha wasn't out of love or anything it was out of hopefulness that things really did change. When the nokkers got more aggressive Fushi backed off a bit to make a plan.
They weren't being naive about Mizuha and her situation. They wanted to have hope that the world they fought for really was safe untill the halfway point where the nokker truly showed itself as still being dangerous, even to its own kind like in the past with Kahaku.

3) Yuki
I think Yuki was a nice breath of fresh air. I was definitely ready to not like him cause hes was the overly hyper optimistic type but he was kinda what Fushi needed. While Fushi has positive people like March and Gugu, they both are struggling adapting and cant really help Fushi in this new world they dont understand or fit into. Yuki is used to modern living and has a positive outlook but he knows when he needs to be serious he will be.
When Fushi had to go find Mizuha without being weird Yuki lied he needed to "confess to Mizuha and Fushi was coming as a wingman" in a heartbeat to help. When the Nokker wanted someone to drink its infested water, Yuki took it immediately knowing he will always have a positive outlook and the Nokkers wont be able to control him unlike someone like Hanna.
Yuki was fairly smart (along eith his sister). After the first battle with Nokker Mimori he clocked how serious the situation was. He always listened to Fushi and was alway prepared for the situations coming up.

There's probably more im forgetting but overall I love s3 and some of the hate points feel so nitpicky. S3 goes into Fushi a lot as their own person and I love the idea of Fushi almost becoming what they hate just to keep their friends and family around. I love hoe Fushi lies like a normal human to keep everyone safe untill it all falls apart and everyone finds out Nokkers are around at the last minute.
