How is it possible that the best thing that could happen to me has the potential to be the worst if it goes wrong ?

Our Spacecraft Have Discovered a New Magnetic Process in Space
Just as gravity is one key to how things move on Earth, a process called magnetic reconnection is key to how electrically-charged particles speed through space. Now, our Magnetospheric Multiscale mission, or MMS, has discovered magnetic reconnection – a process by which magnetic field lines explosively reconfigure – occurring in a new and surprising way near Earth.
Invisible to the eye, a vast network of magnetic energy and particles surround our planet — a dynamic system that influences our satellites and technology. The more we understand the way those particles move, the more we can protect our spacecraft and astronauts both near Earth and as we explore deeper into the solar system.
Earth’s magnetic field creates a protective bubble that shields us from highly energetic particles that stream in both from the Sun and interstellar space. As this solar wind bathes our planet, Earth’s magnetic field lines get stretched. Like elastic bands, they eventually release energy by snapping and flinging particles in their path to supersonic speeds.
That burst of energy is generated by magnetic reconnection. It’s pervasive throughout the universe — it happens on the Sun, in the space near Earth and even near black holes.
Scientists have observed this phenomenon many times in Earth’s vast magnetic environment, the magnetosphere. Now, a new study of data from our MMS mission caught the process occurring in a new and unexpected region of near-Earth space. For the first time, magnetic reconnection was seen in the magnetosheath — the boundary between our magnetosphere and the solar wind that flows throughout the solar system and one of the most turbulent regions in near-Earth space.
The four identical MMS spacecraft — flying through this region in a tight pyramid formation — saw the event in 3D. The arrows in the data visualization below show the hundreds of observations MMS took to measure the changes in particle motion and the magnetic field.
The data show that this event is unlike the magnetic reconnection we’ve observed before. If we think of these magnetic field lines as elastic bands, the ones in this region are much smaller and stretchier than elsewhere in near-Earth space — meaning that this process accelerates particles 40 times faster than typical magnetic reconnection near Earth. In short, MMS spotted a completely new magnetic process that is much faster than what we’ve seen before.
What’s more, this observation holds clues to what’s happening at smaller spatial scales, where turbulence takes over the process of mixing and accelerating particles. Turbulence in space moves in random ways and creates vortices, much like when you mix milk into coffee. The process by which turbulence energizes particles in space is still a big area of research, and linking this new discovery to turbulence research may give insights into how magnetic energy powers particle jets in space.

The Tale of Earth and it’s sister Theia.
Have you found it weird that the earth’s axis is tilted by 23.5 degrees and wondered what led to this? Wait, Where did the moon come from?
Well, Here’s what scientists have theorized.
The Giant Impact Hypothesis
Theia, a mars sized planet collided ( it glanced and thankfully did not collide head on, else it would have destroyed earth ) with the Earth around 4.553 billion years ago.
Theia’s debris gathered together around Earth to form what we now call- The Moon.
The collision between the early earth and Theia was so immense that it tilted the axis of rotation of the early earth by 23.5 degrees.
And it remains tilted so that way even today!!
Why do they believe in this hypothesis ?
Scientists have a very good reason to believe in the Giant Impact Hypothesis:
Earth’s spin and the Moon’s orbit have similar orientations.
Moon samples indicate that the Moon once had a molten surface.
The Moon has a relatively small iron core.
The Moon has a lower density than Earth.
Evidence exists of similar collisions in other star systems (that result in debris disks).
Giant collisions are consistent with the leading theories of the formation of the solar system.
The stable-isotope ratios of lunar and terrestrial rock are identical, implying a common origin
Have a good day !
PC: sarice,
Now not only do we now have an understanding of why the earth is spinning but also why the axis of rotation is inclined by 23.5 degrees.
Stay tuned for more..
Infinity Reaction
So after 5 days of waiting, finally i’m able to comment about infinity war, without givin major spoilers, i just have to say..... my godness, 10 years of hard work, all converge to this point, i mean the movie stands by its own, of course its very good, but the beauty and the art of this one is by thinking about it as a group, like a very good series, i can only relate to some animations or series that combine diferent context and after some point, everything makes total sense! i don’t have very good language knowledge to express that genre in a word. I understand people that don’t like that much superhero movies, and after everything that happened with mcu, an important group of the movie business is focused in this genre because it’s too damn attractive to make, BUT!!! Even it a normal middle age viewer don’t like that much this type of movies i definetly suggest this one to give it a try, but not just infinity war. i mean ALL, starting from the jewel that started everything...Iron Man, because that single movie, even if it doesn’t seem like it was something great, was definitely the strating point, and 10 years later.... everything converge to this point. and all what is left and the whole movies to come.
Finally, i will end up saying that inifnity war is a very good movie by its own, but if is is viewed as the epilogue of too many independent projects i will jugde it as a total Master Piece!
I screamed like an histeric fangirl!!! my god the best whole cake conclusion!!! Luffy heading to be the new emperor, sanji and nami will become stronger, fishman island by the name of strawhats, also everyone get to know about the grand fleet and also they news co guy thought all it was Luffy’s plan. the best bounty ever, and the appareance of Coby and Shanks! also the start of wano kuni saga!!!! my god my god my god incredible manga so far this year (also the fight with Katakuri was awesome!)
The "Frankenstein" Bog Mummies Of Scotland
More than a decade ago, a team of archaeologists found the buried bodies of a man and a woman in Scotland. They had died 3,000 years ago, but they weren’t buried right away. Instead, their bodies were thrown into the Scottish bog where they were preserved and mummified for 300 to 600 years before they were finally put underground. But the skeletons looked weird, to modern scientists. The woman’s jaw was a little too large for her skull, and the man’s limbs seemed out of place.
According to new isotopic dating and DNA experiments, the mummies— both the male and the female—were assembled from the body parts of at least six people! The woman came from individuals who died around the same time. But the man’s … components? … came from people who died hundreds of years apart.
Not only were the bodies assembled like Frankenstein, but they were interred in an odd way too. The bodies were removed from the peat bog after preservation, but before acid destroyed the bones, and then re-interred in soil, where the soft tissue broke down but the bones were preserved.
Why the burying, digging up, and burying again? Why the Frankenstein mismash of multiple bodies? Modern scientists have no idea, but there are plenty of theories, each a little wilder than the last.
Wtf!
I had the same exact reaction when Glossariyck stared to speak, the Best episode and the best season final!!!
