While I completely understand what this post is trying to say, with the over-use of the art style of Stephen Universe and other similar shows, I will admit that seeing Bionicle and Akira together always makes my heart jump (even if fucked up in this style).

Well, that or going back to being an official agent of the Order of Mata Nui. Either way, while living on Spherus Magna, the memories of Dekar Hydraxon had been trying to ignore for some time eventually gets the better of him. He undergoes an identity crisis and develops a Smeagol/Gollum or Jekyll/Hyde style dissociative personality disorder. 

He marks himself, signaling to all who might understand that Dekar has partially returned.

I forgot to post this! I did this sketch yesterday in class. I remember seeing some type of prototype Mahiki which was so heavily based off of The Rocketeer’s helmet it’s not even funny, and that leads to this. I did use both (images of) the Matau set and The Rocketeer’s promotional image(s) as reference.
