I feel like Disney’s live action Pinocchio is kinda like gdt’s Pinocchio if it was worse in every way

Beside the obvious, dead sons (that’s the least of my problems with this fuckass movie tbh)

I found it interesting that they both have geppetto not being accepted towards Pinocchio being his son

However unlike gdt geppetto, Tom Hank geppetto have shown none of that until the end,no scene of him acting cold towards Pinocchio, no scene of him calling him a burden, nothing, we just get a line near the end that implies it, which it make no sense in context of this film,

“Pinocchio, when you first came to me, I might have made you think I wanted somebody else” bitch when? You were fucking overjoy about having him as your son before this, what the fuck do you mean?
