FR artists, if you draw your dragons as anthro/humanized, do you keep their wings or draw them without them?

Personally, I think I’d prefer to add the wings myself to keep the design close to the original dragon design, but drawing wings is a lot of work so I can see that being appealing as well. Plus it makes the silhouette more humanized.

lately i've been challenging myself with rendering full scenes because i've never really been one to finish art like this. im pretty pleased with the contrast in the scene! when i finished my first pass of rendering and changed it to grayscale, the canvas looked like this:

fairly clear, but definitely some room to exaggerate values. squinting i can't really make out the form. so I went in with good old #FFFFFF and #000000 to bring the subject to the foreground:

and after going through with some additional tweaks (dodge and burn layers plus shimmying the contrast and lightness around), the final piece in grayscale looks like this:

certainly not perfect but an improvement to the composition yipeepee

i also used a blur + color dodge dupe layer for the lineart, slight blur on the bg and distant parts of the subject (couldn't help myself), and an overlay to give the shadows some nice hues yayyy

I would pay a premium price if I could gat a scroll that was a random color change for one color. Like a ‘change primary color’ scroll. Could be like 10x the price, but it would be so worth it.

I desperately have the desire to draw but the heat makes it hard to have motivation. This is a 30 minute sketch to wind down the night after getting frustrated with a different composition I scrapped (completely unrelated to this drawing). If there's something I can count on it's Pidge being the source of a stress free drawing.
