I realize it’s been a million years since I posted anything, and it’s literally the middle of the night, but. Thought I’d talk about this project a little bit?
This isn’t a canon g5, just my own fan…gen, I guess. It centers around six ponies:
Avalonia, magical adept and Classy Lady. Despite caring a good deal about her looks and aspiring to magical fame, she will not hesitate to fight someone physically, if it’s for her friends or [especially] her little sister. She has a perfectionist streak on top of her temper, and Will throw down over a perceived slight.
Fluttershy, Avalonia’s little sister. She’s not as magically talented as her sister, or as demanding of attention. Which is fine, since she’s not really very comfortable in the spotlight anyway. She much prefers to quietly observe, which allows her to capture the smaller details in her artworks. Strongly empathetic and averse to conflict, Fluttershy is the mediator and voice of reason in most situations.
Cloud Climber, a pegasus who is overall, a little odd. Spacey and prone to comments that few ponies really understand - “If you catch a kite, you catch a wish” “the Breezie Queen will steal your shoes if you sleep too long in the clover” - Cloudy has trouble making friends, despite her kind personality. She spends most of her time stargazing in the clouds above Rainbow Valley.
Sunny Daze, who has never been able to see the negative side of anything. Optimistic, ambitious, and adventurous, this pony gets excited about everything. A curious and outgoing individual, she can be a bit of a gossip, though never in a mean-spirited way. She gets along well with just about everyone, but she and Avalonia have been friends since forever.
Sparklesnap, Sparkleworks’ twin sister.  More patient than her sister, Snap has a love of riddles and puzzles, though she does have a short fuse.  Her temper is more likely to show in defense of her friends or family, though she can be prone to outbursts if disturbed when she’s trying to corral her brain and focus.  She really appreciates Fluttershy’s calm aura, and the two of them are good friends.
Sparkleworks, the impatient, easily-distracted, and stubborn earthie with a heart of gold. She doesn’t hesitate to throw herself into danger, and dreams of being a hero one day, like the ones she reads about. A good friend of Sunny’s, but less so of Avalonia, finding her too bossy.
I intend to have a larger cast as time goes on, but this is where I’m starting. I’ll make a separate post for the antagonists and stuff later.
