As if Ayako would decline. She slipped from the comfort of Aiko’s bed and stepped up behind Aiko, standing only a few inches taller than her. Aiko followed Ayako’s reflection in the mirror in front of her, taking the moment to admire her. “Shameless, aren’t you?” Ayako comments, a smile creeping on her lips as she lays her hand lazily on Aiko’s hip. “Never.” Aiko quips.

Ayako’s other arm snakes under Aiko’s and clasps with the other at her hip. Aiko can’t help the hue that still colors her cheeks at the contact, simple as it is. Aiko turns her head to look at Ayako in person, meeting eyes and a breath apart. “Ready, 𝘣𝘦𝘢𝘶𝘵𝘪𝘧𝘶𝘭.ᐣ “

Aiko drank until she couldn’t see straight , collapsing on the floor of her cold apartment. She finds comfort in the warmth spreading from her stomach as she lays there. It doesn’t numb sickening ache in the middle of her chest.

Sometimes if she listens close she can hear his voice, the low velvet tone that she’d grown to love despite it all. Sometimes she allows herself to pretend he’s not gone.

Aiko closes her eyes briefly, reopening them to find she’s not in her apartment and her bottle is gone.

Surrounded by spider lilies with her is Itachi. She crawls over to him, taking in his side profile in the serene space of her imagination. She feels a familiar prick in her eyes, try as she may to blink them at bay but it’s pointless.

Aiko sobs shamelessly, overtaken with her grief. She’d lost everyone. No one was there to dry her tears or soothe her quivering frame.

Aiko leans down, pressing her forehead to his and closing her eyes. She swallows an ugly sob away, promising to find him again in the afterlife.

She opens her eyes and finds the floor of her apartment.

Itachi & Aiko’s first meeting

A day like any other in Konaha, the sun high and warm in the sky. The trees made shadows, leaving dark pools of a blueish hue in the sand. Aiko skips along the dark spots, looking straight down at her sandals with Katsu following closely behind.

Aiko continues until she hits the edge of the shadow. A massive clearing with patches of grass but still mostly sand, was in the middle. The girl hummed thoughtfully, raising her nose up and smelling the air around her until she caught a new scent. No, two new scents.

Moments later she heard a chuckle. She crouched and walked in the shadows toward the noise and smells. She poked her head out, spotting two figures dressed in dark blue. She recognized neither, but the emblem on the back of the taller one’s shirt was obvious. Uchiha.

The taller one turned, catching a glimpse of the girl just before she ducked back. She heard a chuckle. “Hello there.” Aiko poked out again, eyes trained on the man with a polite smile. The other figure, a boy around her age, stepped from behind him with a curious expression.

“Hi.” Aiko mumbled. Katsu poked his head from the bush as Aiko stepped out.

“Ah, Inuzuka, yeah?” The tall one asked, “I’m Shisui Uchiha.” Aiko nodded, softening a little. “Aiko.” She responds in kind. Shisui elbows the shorted kid, “Your turn.”

“I’m Itachi Uchiha.” He says, giving Shisui a look. “Nice to meet you Aiko Inuzuka.” Aiko was still unfamiliar with both boys but kept the names in her back pocket.

“Mhm.” Aiko hums, not giving much more of a reaction.

Shisui cleared his throat. “Well, uh, we’ll see you around Aiko.”

☆ ↳ Lluvia had lived in Radiant Garden her entire life with her parents. She was an only child. As a kid she had a fascination with space & the stars. She’s always stargazing.

She met Isa & Lea when they were young. The two boys took a liking to Lluvia, her insight and enthusiasm for curiosity melted with their respective personalities.

At some point Isa offers a paopu fruit to Lluvia.

☆ ↳ Lluvia was often sneaking into the bastion with Lea & Isa to investigate and speak to x. Lluvia was the closer of the group to X, going out of her way to investigate on her own at least once.

Lluvia joined apprenticeship at the same time as the two boys. She was specifically assigned to tech for Ansem and was not involved in the experiments with the heart. However she was eventually used as a test subject.

Here’s Lily’s Kingdom Hearts ref sheet! I’m really glad I waited to do this. It turned out a lot better than what I originally planned. I was not expecting to get inspired enough to mimic Nomura’s art style for this. It’s pretty perfect and I’m really proud.

Lily is Goofy’s apprentice who desperately wanted to become stronger through magic, but that was not in her future. She quickly found her skill and sword fighting. She rose in rank once her mentor taught her the importance of patience and confidence. Lily can be cocky and a bit of a spitfire, but she always does what is right for her friends. Soon she will become a member of the Royal Knights and become a driving force against the Heartless.
