i just found out the chinese title for sweet tooth good dentist is 難以自拔 (nán yǐ zì bá), an idiom that essentially means you're in too deep (aka addicted) and literally means "difficult to extricate oneself"

拔 is extract, the same verb you use for tooth extraction (拔牙)

hard to pull your own teeth and harder still to pull yourself out of love
