it’s so sad when you boil artists down to likes. when you won’t read a fic because of lack of kudos. when you won’t watch a pilot because it’s “too new” to have a fandom. when you won’t talk with an artist unless they’re on a certain platform.
Artists do it for themselves, but they also do it to share with other people. It makes an artists day when you comment on their artwork.
Tell your artists that you like their work, or share it, or comment on that fic/artwork. Even if it’s something little. It’s important. It makes them want to keep going.
