showing game of thrones to my brother who has never watched it before and his face of pure shock when we got to the end of s1 e9...... peak television 🚬
s3 e9................................................................................................
michelle fairley's performance in this oh my fucking god
rains of castamere has one of the best endings to an episode in television history
can't stop posting about this bc it's all i can think about goddddd and this is not even my first time watching it 😭😭
also. rainsofcamelot talking about rainsofcastamere yes sir
my brother was NOT expecting it which is super cool bc i was afraid he was going to get it spoiled or figure it out but thankfully he didn't!!! he was shocked and speechless
also. as a braime stan since 2020. MAN!!!!! THE SCENE WHERE THEY SAY GOODBYE TO EACH OTHER AND BRIENNE CALLS HIM "SER JAIME" FOR THE FIRST TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE WAY HE LOOKS AT HER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😭😭😭😭 insane stuff
and of course. the tub scene. excellent acting from nikolaj OF COURSE but also from gwendoline!!!!!!!!!!! the way she reacts to what he says and conveys SO MUCH emotion in her face, showing brienne's entire thought process- surprised, disturbed, conflicted, understanding, compassionate. she steals the show in every scene she's in. i love her and brienne so freaking much <3
the hold the door scene....... top 5 best moments in the whole show
also. forgot to post it here but MY ANGEL SHIREEN 💔💔 such a painful scene my god
s6 e8. gwendoline christie and nikolaj coster-waldau have completely mastered the art of eye yearning.
finished s7 e3. what they're doing with jaime is pissing me off sooooo bad
anyway. rip godlenna tyrell, you will be missed!!!!! every time she opened her mouth she delivered absolute gold!!!! every freaking line of hers is legendary. her funny, witty and cutthroat remarks will not be forgotten by me!!!!!! diana rigg's performance was majestic
finished s7 just now. we lowkey had a blast watching these episodes just bc we couldn't stop laughing at how ridiculous things were getting 😭😭😭 especially in e6 when all the extras kept dying ☠️☠️ my brother had already started to think the show was going downhill when everyone started teleporting for some reason lmaooo and he's quite good at catching incoherences in the plot! very excited to see what he thinks about next season.......
even though it has its flaws, and subplots i don't particularly like, i don't think s7 is too terrible tbh. it can start to feel like a bit of a fanfic when everyone starts to meet each other but i really enjoyed it
i love s8 e2 sooo much!!!!! probably the last actually good episode of the season lmao the calm before the storm!!!! our beloved characters hanging around and (mostly) having a good time before the big battle!!!! the brienne/jaime scenes are absolutely glorious, and i just LOVE the whole fireplace friend group part. the knighting scene is definitely one of my favorite moments in the whole show. thank you brian cogman for your service, as always!!!!!!
finally finished the show............... the way everyone in my watchthrough thought the ending was ridiculous 😭
i mean. they had some cool concepts i guess but they were executed in such a bad, nonsensical, unsatisfying, rushed way that didn't feel earned or respectful of most characters........ anyway. excited for hotd s1 which is peak !!
why does oscar wilde take 150 pages to write something he could literally say in a paragraph
compelling argument
what does this say about victor hugo
no he was just french
R.R Tolkien?
autistic infodumping
Put this together and I dread to think how long a novel by an autistic gay Frenchman would be. :p
ERAN LAS DIEZ DE LA NOCHE PILOTEABA MI NAAAVEEE ERA MI TAXI UN VOLKSWAGEN DEL AÑO '68‼️‼️
i love marie she's one of my favorite breaking bad characters. i love how she reacts organically to every situation and how against the abject absurdity of everyone else she comes off as absurd for being near-comically practical ("kill yourself, walt") and i wish they explored her stealing as a consequence of being emotionally cast aside by her own family who deemed her troubles less than important just a little bit more. i love how when jesse is hiding out at the schrader's house to confess she makes him coffee because she hates walt for hurting her family THAT much and i love how she calls skyler every day just to talk at her voicemail box. i love how she makes everything in her life purple especially.
"the cure" by olivia rodrigo but with villefort bc no matter how much empathy he felt, how close he came to doing good or reaching redemption, how much others tried to evoke his compassion and make him change, or how much he didn't like to be the way he was, something in him was 'inherently wrong' and he would always end up losing everyone (or at least that's what i think he believed). love could never save him; it could only destroy him.
it also feels very valentine coded, pre-monte cristo's interference. poor val thought her entire life and person would be determined by her sick family. my sad girl, you would've loved olivia rodrigo 🙏🏻🙏🏻
