I know I said I'd be back soon, but things have been pretty terribad lately lol, more than usual. I just wanted to apologize, especially since I had hoped to be back soon, then nothing. Hope you all are doing well, I still miss y'all.

Ahhh....sorry for disappearing for so long. I had it in my mind that things would be easier with three days off, but yeah, no lol. I may or may not become active again in the near future, but it kind of all depends on whether I buy a gaming laptop or not (something that might happen in the next week, depending on how much of an adult I choose to be lmao). I was getting pretty fed up with my computer taking 437895789 hours to load the game, and just kind of down on my story posts, so I decided to step away quietly lol. I miss you all very much though, I think if I have a laptop it’ll, maybe, be easier to catch up with everybody. Right now it’s just really inconvenient to sit at my PC.

I’m sure this has to do with the rather intense new mandate against adfly, but @sssvitlans account has been documenting custom content for years, and as such they’re going to have some reblogs containing links to adfly...just the nature of the beast. This amazing blogger has made, possibly the largest, contribution to the sims community with their documentation...the same community tumblr announced as one of their top contributing communities last year.

Hello my love, i was wondering if you wouldn't mind telling me which skin the first girl is wearing in the nic appreciation post, her tummy area looks amazing! x

wOOOO crappy screenshot gooooooo. Currently using @chisimi‘s Jole skin, with EA’s abs thrown on. Here’s the end result. Mine is just a swatch added on to the original (it doesn’t have a special ss or anything sorry), and is very far from perfect (I think the left side has a seam oops) because it’s been a personal skinblend. All credit goes to Chisami and EA, I just threw the two together. Hopefully it’s close to anatomical correct-ness.

Wednesday has this swoonworthy cool girl vibe that I really love; I tried to make a photoset based on that, but I don’t think I captured even a fraction of it, haha. ;_; It was still so much fun to do!!

I don't notice a lag at all and I have 25gb (don't judge meeeee). Like simsofapt10 said, it does lag when you're first starting up the game.

i can't really tell? I have less than 2gb's of cc in game and the only lag i get is loading the shaders initially?

Ah...it definitely has to be my computer. It makes everything lag. I’m typing this and it’s taking 3459078979 years for me to see what’s being typed.

To those with reshade...does it help to have less cc? Or is it just laggy period. I’m gonna take a stab and guess it’s a combination of my computer being crap and having too much cc, but rn turning on one preset makes my game unusable lol.
