The superhero laughed at their counterpart. “Have you looked in the mirror lately? You have four villains, two sidekicks, a thief, an assassin, and an occasional vigilante trailing after your like ducklings after their mother. I’m not the only one with a menagerie of adopted kids.”

“No, no I- wait. Oh god. No.”

In a fantasy world, a character wanders deep into the woods. They’re only passing through.

Unfortunately, this forest is home to something menacing, and it does not take well to trespassers.

Like a nightmare, the character finds themselves trapped, ensnared by writhing branches and curling roots. They scream, and everything goes black.

When they wake up, they are… different.

The knight rummaged through the dragons horde taking hand fulls of gold coin and precious shiny stones. He suddenly felt a warmth in his chest like never before it bubbled up and got hotter and hotter until a fire blast came forth from the dragons mouth

A prince(ess) is cursed from birth to slowly turn into to a swan unless they can find true happiness by 18

“This is going to be fun” the ghost said cracking their knuckles

“Not so fast it’s still my body” said the host

a set of twins is cursed to share a body by their wizard dad unless they can learn to get along

[Villain] stared at them in the mirror for a long moment, “seriously?!”

“Yes, seriously!” [Hero] crossed their arms, “this test is super important. You’re the smartest person I know! So if I’m getting anything out of this whole mess of you being in my head, I want to pass my exam!”

“Oh my god, if I help you, will you just stop talking?!” [Villain] groaned.

“Yes!” [Hero] agreed immediately.

If [Villain] had known how young [Hero] was before they had started fighting, they wouldn’t have fought them. If [Villain] had known how young [Hero] was before their soul got trapped inside [Hero]’s body, they would have run for the hills, never to return again.

[Heor] tilted their head, their expression unreadable. They remained silent for a long moment before speaking, “That’s… A very dangerous question to ask.”

[Villain] scoffed, “Dangerous? Really?”

“Yes. What if I said something really messed up?”

[Villain] paused for a moment before answering, “Then I would apologize.”

“Do you think an apology would make me feel better? After prying into my darkest memories like that?” [Hero] stared at them, their voice carefully calm.

“Well, if it was really that bad, then wouldn’t you just dodge the question?” [Villain] fired back.

“Like I am now?”

That… That made [Villain] hesitate.

“I-I did it” the villain stood motionless, gazing over the wreckage in disbelief “Holy shit...I actually did it I won” the villain laughed and turned to the hero who laying on the ground. Prone but not dead “hows it feel to finally lose to me” the villain said with a cocky smirk on their face. The hero caughed and managed to sit themselves up right, with the energy they had left they managed to crack a smile “I gotta say, pretty bad kid” the hero knew when they’ed lost and could admit it, they were mostly in shock I’d been a good while since they lost it was almost refreshing. But they wouldn’t let it happen again. The villain continued to gloat as news stations showed up to cover the event
